I like the pink sand color with my rose gold iPad pro and it protects the front of my device well- no scratches or anything. I do not like that it does not provide any protection for the back or sides and that the material could probably attract dirt easily. It does have the ability to sit up in 2 different positions which is nice if you are watching something on your iPad. I don't know if I would buy another of these cases because I do like a lot of protection but I am sure the front flip style case could work with some cases.

This cover attaches easily and works great. Only gave it 4 stars because I don't like that I had to buy the top and bottom cover separately.

I've always used Apple Smartcases for my iPads, but the new iPad pro doesn't appear to have that option from apple for the foreseeable future. The only way to gain full protection on the iPad pro is through the purchase of the iPad Shell and a separate Smart Cover. It doesn't help that the new iPad Pro 9.7" has slightly different magnets, rendering the older iPad Air Smart Covers obsolete and unusable. That said, the Smart Cover for the new iPad Pro feels great, works well and the Charcoal Black is a very nice looking color.

This is the front cover I bought to go along with the back cover. With all the covers to chose from that wake up your IPad that are a whole lot cheaper. Would not recommend

This front cover fits really well and is very easy to open. It does a great job of protecting the screen of my ipad.

It works great with the back cover which is priced separatelyand it is over priced but it does protect the ipad 9.7

First of all Apple, why would you not offer the smart cover in basic black?While it's insanely expensive my device feel safely protected, but at $130 for both the front the smart cover and the silicone case it's a pretty big expense. Other covers and cases I've seen on the market don't match the quality of this one from Apple, so I conceded defeat and just purchased the charcoal gray, but I'm not happy with it.

Love this cover. Fits well with the the matching back cover. Light weight and attractive. Pretty pink color.

Being an Apple-produced product, one would hope it works well with the 9.7" iPad Pro, which it does. It fits like a glove (does not add a great deal of bulk to the iPad), provides a minimal level of protection for the iPad, and works well with the onboard magnets to turn the iPad screen on and off. I am sure there are less expensive options available now from third parties, but I am happy with this case and see no reason to make a change.

I've had 4 Ipad models over the years and I've always like the smart cover. This one is no exception - well made, light, and comfortable. An interesting fact is that you CANNOT use an iPad Air cover on the iPad pro - they have reversed the magnets. What I do like is the magnets in this cover and the iPad Pro 9.7 are much stronger than previous models, so this cover stays in place much more firmly than previous editions.

This Smart Cover was on sale (only in blue) so I purchased it; provided excellent protection and also allows me to prop up the IPad for viewing. Great buy!

Same good fit as other Apple Ipad covers. Offers great protection. A snap to take off.

It is expensive to use Apple accessories but Apple does an excellent job of making sure the accessories work on their products. This cover fits perfectly and by buying both the front and back covers, it is easy to pick up and is nonslip. Also appreciate the dual functionality -- can use the front cover as a stand. My only issue is that there should be a way to store the Apple pencil.

Not quite what I wanted so I returned it. It did its job and was aesthetically beautiful but I didn't really feel it did anything special. The different color options were a nice touch. I ended up going with the Apple Keyboard case which has essentially the same aesthetic(minus a little extra bulk), but with the added functionality of a keyboard.

The case fits very well and protects the Ipad. Its thin and light weight.

This Smart Cover is great. No more fumbling for the power button, just close the cover. Attaches like magic. The best cover for everyday use.

This cover is much like all their other ones durable and does a good job as a stand. Stronger magnets than the cover I have for my iPad mini 2, and the only downside is the fact that the magnets don't create a place the Apple Pencil can tether to... Would have been a good feature... But it just does what it's intended use is so it's good.

For a complete case for your iPad Pro, this is only one of two complimentary pieces. This is a great swart cover, and protects the screen, but you need the matching iPad Pro base to go with it and protect your iPad when dropped. The two pieces together are more expensive that the iPad 2 case, but the iPad 2 case cover is not a comparable Smart Cover for the iPad Pro.
