I really like how simple this cover is and it is super light weight and easy on and off. Sits on the airplane table upright to watch movies

I purchased an iPad Pro and this case wasn't available in the store so I purchased the keyboard case. While that case fits well, I wanted something that was less bulky for when I'm not in need of the keyboard. I purchased this on line and it seems to be slightly too big for the iPad. I've had the magnetic case on my iPad 2 and iPad Air and they both fit much better. This one seems to slide around a bit but it does what its designed to do.

I am on my third iPad now (iPad Pro - the smaller one) and all I wanted was the Apple full cover like I purchased for my first two iPads. Apple now breaks it into two pieces - the back cover and the magnetic front Smart Cover. First of all it's crazy expensive to purchase both the front and back. The back covers the back and only three edges of the iPad because it has to leave space for the magnetic attachment for the Smart front cover. Why would anyone buy only the back, when clearly it needs the front cover to complete it. And the front cover, if used alone, it leaves all that smooth back metal backing of the iPad exposed. That might be ok if you use the iPad at home on the couch every night, but not if you take it with you to the office every day. When you put them together, it's the perfect complete iPad cover except that the front falls off ALL THE TIME! If you put any (real) pressure on the top while it's folded back it will fall off and it's very frustrating. Over 100 bucks for this cover and it falls apart. I dropped the iPad one time, and the cover popped off, but luckily it wasn't damaged. I just don't get it. It would be the perfect cover if it was offered in one piece, and seriously, it should be well under 100 bucks.

This cover is great for preventing scratches to the screen. I bought this because I didn't want the bulk of a full case but wanted something to protect the screen when traveling and setting down when not in use. I wish the magnet was a little stronger because sometimes the cover falls off when flipped upside down. Also wish it was a tad smaller so the cover didn't hang over the edges of the iPad and had a better fit (I realize they designed it this way to be paired with Apple's back cover but I do not prefer the back cover).

The new style of these apple smart covers are miles better then the days of the original ones I like that they have magnets one the ends that way they stay shut or stay open when you have it open. The originals first styles ones didn't have that Beatrice they would just fall back when you would open the iPad and use it epically the ones with the metal hinge those wore the worst ever. The second version weren't too bad but Apple finally got it right with this version unless they can surprise me with the next version and do something better that I take for granted.

The smart cover is exactly what I was looking for so it would put my iPad to sleep when I closed the cover. I had one on my old iPad that I gave to a friend so I went looking for the same thing when I bought my new iPad. The old cover had a front and back as one piece. Was disappointed to find I had to buy the front cover, and then buy a protective back separately...especially since each piece was so pricey. The cover attaches magnetically, but it came off once when I was using it, so I've learned to be more careful with it now.

This cover has the most perfect fit and a great feel. It offers great protection, is attractive and works very well in combination with the silicon case.

I love the slim fit design and the magnetic close feature. I would have given it 5 stars if it would sell for half the price.

This is exactly as advertised. It does add some bulk to the iPad, but works well and I personally like the typing experience on it. I would recommend going to a physical store and trying it out first though since typing preferences are very subjective. I also like that is powered through the iPad smart connector and doesn't need charging or paring through Bluetooth. I also like that I can easily pull it off and swap for a plain cover when I know I won't need the keyboard and want a little less bulk.

This cover is well-made. The magnet that attaches it is strong. It just seems a little overpriced for its simplicity.

Designed and manufactured by Apple so you can get a perfect fit for the Pro. The quality is very good but it is just a little bit pricy.

The support of this cover isn't quite the same as the last version for my iPad (2nd generation). The folds are in slightly different places, so I find myself spending more time to make sure the folds are in their proper place when I'm trying to stand up my pad. I'm not sure what's different, but something is just a hair off. The case does it's job of protecting the screen, but I find myself thinking more about standing it up, than I've noticed in the past.

Cover fits great. Works well with Speck brand shell case. Would have given 5 stars if the price wasn't so high.

Bought one for my hubbie's new ipad. Easy to put it to sleep when done using it. Think it protected iPad when it got dropped.

I love how it locks my iPad. It also provides protection for the screen, and is very useful when folded to display movies.

My old cover was the magnetic type. This cover is much stronger and protects front and rear. Hard to snap closed though.

If you want light weight it is great. You have to have cover and back protector. Pricey but light.

Works well with the case and maintains the light weight of the iPad Pro. Pricey, but worth it. Nicely protects the screen.

Don't get a third party cover. The color is great, the fit is perfect, and the quality is excellent. Well worth the price.

Fits like a glove. Fit and finish of Apple accessories are as nice as the iPad itself. Protects from every day accidents.
