    I really like it! It keeps my screen from getting scratched or anything and it locks my iPad when I close it too which it great

    This works like it says it does and acts as nice protection. Having it independent from the back actually is nice for certain situations (e. g. taking a picture with the tablet.) However, like all other official Apple accessories, it's idiotically expensive.

    When you close this cover on the iPad 4 mini, it puts it to sleep, open it and it wakes up. Really slick.

    I bought this item before for my iPad Air and was very pleased with the simple concept of it. When I bought the cover for the mini other magnetic part wasn't assembled correctly and it wouldn't stick to the iPad in the correct way. So, I exchanged it for a new one and it works fine now.
