The keyboard looks and feels great. It magnetically attaches quickly to the IPad, very similar to the Microsoft Surface. The only reason it was given 4 stars is due to the scaled down keyboard. It's easy to type if you don't have very large hands, if you do you will find yourself hitting 2 keys at a time.

I have owned other keyboards for earlier iPads, and never ended up using them. I use this keyboard every day, due to its built in connectivity and simple way it connects and folds in and out. It is a vast improvement over all previous generations of keyboards for iPads.

Fit is amazing and glad i found it. Just wish it had a place for the iPencil

I hesitated buying this because it was pretty expensive. I am so glad that I have it now. It's so easy to use and completely battery free. The magnetic bar just grabs it to the side of the IPAD and it folds in and out so when you're not using it it is protected.

Feel is excellent, I've had no accuracy issues. It is a little small, but can't be any bigger given the size of the 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Getting used to the size was quick and painless, and now it's second nature. It does add a bit more weight to the iPad then the standard cover without the keyboard.

I was a typing teacher for many years, and find this keyboard very easy to use. I easily transition from my MAC to this IPAD keyboard and think I'm almost as fast! The touch is clearly felt when you successfully strike a key. The case is durable and fits well.

This iPad keyboard has the best touch of any iPad keyboard I've had...and I've had 3 now. All for different iPads. Best part, there is no charging needed. I give it a 5 star rating. And I have already recommended it to several people...2 who have bought it.

The apple Smart Keyboard is amazing. Sleek design you don't have to charge it, automatically syncs as soon as you attach it. Comfortable layout of keys for easy use while typing, great response and has the sleep and wake up feature when your not using it.

This keyboard and case for the iPad is excellent as protection from the usual bumps and scrapes while being quite good as keyboard for text editing. Virtual keyboard in the iPad apps is ok, but for real typing and editing, give me this keyboard any day!

The keyboard is easy to use, it connects via the smart connector so no additional charging needed, good feature as it is one less charging cable. Keyboard is good size, keys click slightly so you know you are typing. Keyboard feels a little heavy but I'm use to it. Overall a good choice.

This is a great keyboard. It is very easy to use and keep charged. It easy to carry around.

It's so amazing to have this option for your tablet, especially one that's so thin and not a large one that you have to carry around because this one fits in my purse! I love having it to type with and it also folds over your screen to protect it!

The Apple Smart Keyboard is a gem. I love typing on it. I actually enjoy typing on it more than on my MacBook Pro. Some reviewers have said it's difficult to use the Smart Keyboard with the iPad Pro without a hard surface underneath it, but I disagree. I use it on my lap all the time and find it quite easy to type that way. It is simply not a problem for me. If you're buying an iPad Pro, you must buy the Smart Keyboard. They make a great combination. The keyboard also serves as a cover for the glass screen when it is folded in place. It does not cover the metal back of the device, which is not really an issue. You can purchase a separate matching cover to protect the other side, but I didn't do that. I prefer showing off the rose color of the metal case My only complaint is that the keyboard doesn't come in a variety of colors. It only comes in grey.

Couldn't be better! Had previously purchased a non-Apple keyboard/cover for my brand new 9.7" iPad Pro. Although good, it had batteries, used Bluetooth, and was uncomfortable when using touch features. Was very frustrating, so I exchanged it for Apple's Smart Keyboard and couldn't be happier! Apple's Smart Keyboard is more expensive but believe me, it is well worth it if you want to get the most out of your Pro. No batteries. No Bluetooth. Amazing magnetic connectors that attach keyboard to Pro perfectly and strong. Made of amazing conductor fabric so once it's attached with the magnet you're good to go! No on/off buttons. No charging. But no backlights. Beautiful suede type fabric. Gray only. Folds perfectly out of the way to use as touch iPad without having to remove. Folds perfectly to cover screen when not using, and always protects keys. Takes a bit getting used to the keyboard but it works consistently well across all keys. Even has arrow keys, control keys, and keyboard shortcuts. 9.7" keyboard is a bit cramped but the whole thing fits easily in my handbag. Absolutely amazing. Worth every penny, I don't regret the extra cost at all.

This keyboard is so much easier than trying to type on the screen, plus the added benefit of being able to stand the iPad up while typing is much more comfortable. Easy to remove, folds nicely. I'll never use an iPad without the keypad again!

A very light weight and functional keyboard. Crazy difficult folding contortions to put it up and get it laid out for use. Any company but Apple would sell it for $40 but the big profit margins do pay back in dividends to stock investors. It would be helpful to have a lighted keyboard but for touch typists the keys work very well. The iPad Pro with this keyboard has proven to be all the technology needed while traveling and doing lots of writing and research. With the Apple pencil for design sketches and text and the camera this is a powerful tool for creating and communicating documents. I doubt anyone comes even close to what Apple offers in this package.

The low profile keys and ability to automatically sync keyboard and no charging required is fantastic. Keyboard/cover is very lightweight. Improves functionality and convenience of tablet for email and document production/sharing. Love it!!

The keys are placed exactly how I need them so that I don't have to worry about my fingers cramping up when I type on it. Although, this keyboard is on the expensive side, I'd definitely recommend it. It makes texting super easy :)

The Keyboard case allows the iPads power to really shine. Once Connected you barely realize a change in dimensions or weight. Tasks like emails, web browsing, and touch ups to documents are a breeze. Definitely worth the money.
