They came it came with 1 year of apple TV+. They lied.

Apple has finally redesigned the remote in addition to being 100% 4K & Dolby Vision & Sound compatible. This remote can also turn our Sony Receiver, BRAVIA 4K TV, and itself on and off with one click. We are very pleased with this purchase.

We are really enjoying our Apple TV 4K. It is such an improvement over the one we have had for many years. Picture quality seems to be much better and overall use of the product has been easy.

Loved the 1st Gen, which has worked flawlessly for 3 years for me. Now upgraded to 2nd Gen for higher frame rate and the more powerful processor and revised remote. Love the updates to the remote. Easier to use by feel in a dark room, plus the contrast of silver and black helps (versus the all-black design of the prior gen). There are smart TVs that have Apple TV built into them, but I prefer having the hardware, as I can use it to make any tv “smart”. I take my Apple TV on vacations and simply plug it into rental TVs to instantly have all of my Apps, such apps Apple TV+, Disney +, VuDU, Netflix, Prime, etc. All the apps are supported. The menus and interface are really the best in my opinion.

If you don't have an LG TV or play Apple Arcade games, you won't need the 3rd generation 2022 Apple TV 4K. This 2nd gen version 2021 will be plenty fast enough for you and have enough storage to last you many years. Most users will not notice any difference or improvement by upgrading. If you can get the 2nd gen at a discount, definitely the model to get.

Yet another 4K streaming box that almost covers everything except... The Good: Power cord without a brick, easy hookup, options for every type of tv setup, well packed in its box, rechargeable remote. ESPN app allows 4 pictures in picture for football. The Bad: Need computer to install itunes to create an apple account to sign in. Then need a credit card or paypal account to sign in. YouTube app does not do HDR without manually switching modes in settings per video. Totally unacceptable Sling TV app fast forward and rewind with the remote is cludgy and skips all over the place. So, like so many other streaming devices, this one doesnt do it all either, and for what I have seen, is not worth $199 when better/equal streamers are available for half this much.

I bought this to watch Britbox as my SmartTV was just a bit too old to download the app to it. I love it! So easy to use, plus I’m catching up on all of my favorite Britbox shows. I can also access so many other channels I don’t currently receive any other way. It was a great investment for a fantastic price!

Very good streaming device...will charge more than a roku would have cost. Also some apps incompatible

The newest generation of Apple TV is definitely the best of the available streaming options bunch! Great performance, support for the latest codecs, gaming - you've got your bases covered!

Best streaming box out there. Interface kicks the excrement out of Amazon, Roku, and everything else. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

If you have an Apple account, this is a no brainer. I get 64 go, which allows me to pause the tv for longer periods. Then I skip commercials

This is my second one. I added one to our cabin as well. So easy to set up and it works flawlessly. I love all things Apple!

It's incredibly convenient to be able to simply cast video from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac wirelessly, also the UI is way better than what came on my smart TV by default.

Having own the previous model, there's not much of a big upgrade on this gen. I bought this to use as Home hub for thread smart plugs and for the Wifi 6. The new remote is the biggest selling point here. The new remote is bigger in size and better to use than the previous gen. It is harder to misplaced and no more accidentally pressing Siri when I want the TV button!

Great product! This replaced my PS4 as my streaming device! It feels extremely premium and made my PS4 feel dated

Quality and stability. Makes a Firestick and Chromecast feel like a jigsaw puzzle.
