Great but Not Needed with Samsung Smart TV's

I had just purchased two more for a 2nd home where I also purchased a new Samsung Smart TV. I found the the TV has all the Apps that I was looking for with these Apple TV units so I returned them.

great streaming box

The app store on this one with ability to play games is a nice addition. I use it a lot to mirror my macbook pro, and it works great for that also. If you own apple products then this is a must, if android then go with shield tv, which I have and is also a great streaming box.

Not exactly a fanboy of theirs that needs the latest and greatest. But I do appreciate how the devices connect together so effortlessly. Yes, there are cheaper options for streaming devices. But I had decided to go with this option and haven't regretted it.

We use the AppleTV more than cable/satellite!

Miss and forget to record something? Check that channel's Apple TV app and you very may well find it available on demand.

I only watch tv and don't do any real games so I can not comment on the games. But I love the touch of the remote, the notifications on my phone for "keyboard" which is huge cause I hated having to pick a letter at a time. Its a small feature but really nice. Apple did a good job!!
