Only choice for Dolby vision and Atmos for streaming. Expensive compared with other devices.

I purchased this latest apple TV device for the latest 4k technology and additional features. I've been happy with it since my older versions of Apple TV didn't have as many features as this one.

Apple products no doubt need any explanation. 4K quality is amazing and auto detect feature helps on HDMI cable selection.

My rating is relative to the entire streaming box environment. If you are not stuck in the Apple ecosystem and you have no need to play games: Avoid Apple TV. For price alone Get a Roku, Amazon, Google or whatever stick for $20-$50 and you will still get 4K HDR support and all the Apps you need. Aside from price I have had nothing but problems with Apple TV. Constant disconnects, HDCP failures, Application failure, forced resets/restarts. It is not my TV, not the cable. Tried a dozen cables and three TVs, same results. Terrible reliablity. No problems with my Roku and built in Apps on the same TVs. For a $200 streaming device it should whisper sweet nothings in my ear and give me a shoulder massage when I sit down in front of my TV. One in four times there is no picture at all. The most advanced Roku is $100, a $50 Roku will do 99% of what most people need. Buy a Roku. Buy any other sub $50 streaming stick unless you HAVE to use Apple for some reason. I am a lifetime Apple user at every level and this is the most problematic Apple device I have ever owned.

Great way to watch all the apps available to the system. Wide range of apps available, including Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Discovery+, etc. Remote works well and easy to talk into.

I love the Apple TV 4K. It’s a wonderful addition to my new OLED TV. If you want fast streaming, voice control option on the remote and ability to mirror anything from your iPad, then buy this product. I can’t find anything that I don’t like about it.

It’s fast and puts out a great picture but it lacks in some things. Wish it will do everything the roku will do.

It’s The Apple Streaming device of choice. Not what anyone necessarily needs but I like it. There are cheaper alternatives that work better, it’s also way overpriced imo. But ..I understand if you want the apple polish that this ui offers and you are already Apple everything then this is for you. Especially now with Apple TV plus. Overall it’s 3 stars for me

This is a great upgrade from the previous version. The option to use your phone as a remote is great. It makes it a lot easier to input passwords etc using an actual keyboard. You can also add the apps you want.

Loving the Apple TV 4k device where I can link all of my apps and devices to my tv. The only issue is that the wi-fi connection keeps getting dropped between uses so not sure if I need to update my router.

It is easy to set up and run. It takes a while to get used to the remote

I got this so that I could use the Zwift app (virtual cycling with my smart trainer). But now I seems to use my Apple TV more than anything else. It’s so seemless. I have been contemplating buying one for my second tv!

If you care about the quality of audio (if you’re using a receiver and speaker setup), and you want to finer tune your visuals, get this. This will beat AirPlay and any built in AppleTV app on your smart TV.

Must have if you are an Apple product user. Apple TV offers lots of features including streaming services (several popular ones), very simple Apple Mirroring with any Apple product, ability to play games on it and family fun over all.

I have every Generation since the 2nd Gen. this one is nice and works with 1080p and 4K. I live the apps and that all previous purchases are available. I have taken this on vacation to watch our shows. Highly recommended!

For millions like me out there that streamed the Kodi over the Amazon Fire 4K device, we were terribly dissapoint d in the picture quality feed and the sound quality. Toss in the trash and grab the Apple TV, you won’t regret it. R Ribera, Las vegas

Difficult to use remote not respond to you well... all touch very sensitive don’t go where you want it to

I had the 2nd generation of Apple TV and it lasted a long time before a thunderstorm hit my area and red our Apple TV. We waited a few years before ultimately purchasing one and it's been great thus far.

So much nicer than the previous Apple TV with the extended use of varied apps that make its uses limitless. The wireless connection seems to remain stronger also. I like the voice search capability!

Love my Apple TV. This is the fourth one I’ve had. Works seamlessly with all my apple devices and my NAS unit and the DS or PLEX apps. I love that it can be used as a hub for the Apple Home Kit as well.
