not enough instructions/explainations

It was soooooo frustrating that I actually had to quit trying to sign, and think it out, wondering if I should return it. Eventually my Apple Mac demanded for other reasons that I create a new apple ID. When I did so, there was a notice that it was updated to my iPhone as well. Only then could I actually get to sign in and begin adding apps. Once the sign up is done, tho, the first thing I recommend is to go to the settings and make sure it NEVER asks for your apple ID again. It is now working well.

A bit disappointed

Just very unfortunate that the radio app which used to be in old Apple TV is not available to the new box. Even bigger omission is that Apple chose to remove the optical audio port from the new box. Used to be able to take HDMI to a display device and digital optical audio signal to the surround sound stereo system. Not anymore! Now you will have to buy an additional HDMI audio extractor to get the audio stream. Many of these extractor devices do not work well in this role including the unit sold by Best Buy.
