If you have a lot of Apple TV videos, this unit is a substantial upgrade for earlier generations with features that are now considered essential for 4k tv and internet connectivity.

If u have a smart tv your probably don’t need this but if you like mirroring you iPhone it’s pretty nice. To me it is very glitchy and, even though my movies should be 4K, they don’t seem very clear or bright...I even have a 4K hdmi
