The Apple TV 4K is definitely a 5 star product for certain people. You fit the bill if: You have a 4K TV, are heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem/iTunes, are willing to subscribe to Netflix and/or premium channels/already have cable, and have a strong (above 20 MBPs) internet connection. UI: As per most Apple products the UI is pretty dang flawless. Navigating is easy and the Siri remote works wonderfully and is actually pretty fun to use. Folders and app re-arranging is possible just like in iOS and the amount you can download is only limited to your storage space. I bought the 64GB and have yet to even break the 32GB (base model) mark. Apps: There are a TON of apps, a lot of them with free content. Comet, Shout Factory, Mascot, and Waves to name a few. If you have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. then this is definitely the best experience for all of them. They work really well with Apple's "TV" app too for endless bingeing with it's resume and up next features. Not to mention: there's a wealth of games and other cool apps to download. Video: One of my favorite features of the aTV is how highly intelligent it is in regards to different resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios and dynamic range. Since it's recent software update the aTV is able to automatically switch all of these to give you the original content un-altered, on even a 4K TV... Pretty neat. Device: The box itself is super slick and small. It disappears well into your entertainment center and is completely silent thanks to it's tiny fan. There's even an ethernet port on the back for all the hardwire fans. Overall I'm really happy with my Apple TV 4K. I can definitely tell that this is the direction TV will be heading in the future and it's a good start. If you're like me and are still into live TV and DVR functionality it probably won't replace your TiVo/Cable company DVR for the time being but it's definitely a big step forward for IPTV.

Purchased it so I can use air play but it doesn't connect well. End up plugging my laptop in with an hdmi cable :(

My control is cracked Once plugged in the picture of my rv went ugly & dark

Consistently has issues going to a blank screen. Can’t watch a movie without pausing or “blacking out.”

We were disappointed in this because you have to have some kind of cable subscription to get the full use of it.

The voice would not sync up even though I tried multiple configurations.

This review is for a refurbished Apple TV 4K. I purchased it refurbished from Best Buy online with the hopes of greater savings. This isn't the first time I've purchased refurbished from Best Buy and I've always been very happy with what I received, however this time, I ran out of luck. Given all that, I still plan to buy another Apple TV 4k but in new condition.

Compared with the Roku this is very hard to us and not a great product.

I love the layout of the new Apple TV. The new 4K features load quickly and seamlessly. I was able to watch a movie in 4K, and it didn't lack any streaming over Wifi. Very impressive fast setup using the iPhone as well. Typing in wifi passwords to set up an apple TV are a thing of the past. Be sure and try out the Apple TV app if you own an iPhone. It'll make navigation of this device so much easier. Very impressive with the speed and the integration of the iPhone with the device. I was greatly looking forward to the 4K abilities within the Apple TV realm, and they sure delivered well. I also really like the small raise around the home button on the Apple TV remote. It makes finding the Menu button so much easier in the dark. This is a great device! It is a wonderful addition to any smart, or normal TV. You won't be disappointed.

Doesn’t worth the money while having slow speed! Always freezing

I expected so much more from Apple. We have two iMacs, two iPhones, iPad and very happy. I could only see choice of 4 free movies with barely a description. Apple TV has a long way to go to catchup to Firestick.

Bestbuy advertised it to include ESPN AND HULU . I had it for more than a month so far and Have not seen their availability. I do see a lot of subscribers options for additional fees.

I waited for so long for Apple to finally release an Apple TV model that offer 4K. I also enjoy being able to download other apps to watch what I want. It is easy to use. It is a very nice upgrade and am so glad I have it!

just picking up remote more often than not give command accidently touch pad so sensitive in advertent commands Frustrating Changing streaming device

Do not purchase u already have a smart TV why would you need this. It offers everything a smart TV does. It was a bad purchase and one I regret since I can’t return it.

The quality of picture is poor and frezzes when air played from phone or iPad. Nothing is free. You have to pay 2-4 times money that otherwise you can get to see these movies and shows

I really like apple but not the price tag, I have everything apple at home but this is my last apple tv cause my smart tv can do the exact same thing and I save $250+ dollars

You have to pay a monthly fee plus for good movies you have to pay to rent. I thought it was like Netflix where you pay a monthly fee and watch all the movies free.

Wouldn’t buy another item from this place. Tried to return an unneeded item completely seal in the original box, with a receipt and was rejected.
