I love Apple and own a product from every line of apple products. I was however hesitant to purchase the watch. Didn't feel a would really use the features or even wear it half the time. It's been a month now and I absolutely love this stainless steal model with the leather band. Notifications are awesome and easy to customize. Replying is a breeze and the workout feature is great. The battery life isn't an issue and I use mine pretty heavily throughout the day. I do sometimes keep it off my wrist and wear a more "traditional" time piece depending on the type of event I'm attending but for the most part, this is my ever day watch. Overall it's great, the features are great, the appearance is beautiful. I get a lot of compliments on it, go with the stainless steal addition!

Was a little hesitant to purchase this because it is the old generation, but really liked the look of the stainless steel and leather band. After it arrived and saving $500 from the original price, have been very happy we made the purchase. While it is missing the GPS and is not water proof, it does everything we wanted it to do and looks great while doing it.

Purchased this for my wife and was extremely happy with quality and functionality. Went with the smaller size as I feel it was more appropriate for her wrist. Black band gave it a classy look so it gave the appearance of a nice watch that can be worn casually or dressed up. Buckle size seems to run a bit small but countless band options available.

im not one to having the latest and greatest version, so when this popped up at $500 off the original price, I dropped the idea of the series 2 and got a much better quality case than aluminum. People have stated the additional weight of stainless steel has been an issue, but I don't even notice it. It's a beautiful watch and the leather band is nice, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about the screen. Great bargain!

I bought this Watch after the newer series 2 came out and I don't regret it. For less than the cheapest series 2, I got the stainless steel model with an ordinarily very expensive watch band. Eventually I will upgrade, but for now I don't need the gps or waterproofing (it's water resistant) and the latest operating system makes it fast enough for what I need. But I don't swim or play games on it or use many 3rd party apps. I use the Watch for running and I use it to keep me from being a couch potato between runs. I wanted a Watch that could be a running Watch, but still look nice for everyday wear. The Watch band is lovely. It looks simple and elegant and much more feminine than any of the other official bands. It is easy to take off and put on, but stays secure. I'm tempted to pay to buy another color, but I'll wait to see if I can get a deal. I did buy a separate band for running as this one wouldn't be suitable.

For several years I have been contemplating purchasing this apple watch - over the years it has had different color bands but the watch itself remained the same. During December the price dropped at Best Buy that I could no longer refuse. I bought the watch! It has been an awesome investment. Although I am still learning it's many features I now have no excuse when receiving a text message or phone call and I don't have to scramble through my purse looking for my phone. I just love it!

Overall this product was pretty good. Because of it being first gen there was a long software upgrade period (3 hours) before I could use. The band also came with a slight scuff/scratch. Otherwise the item works great.

This is one of my favorite purchases ever. Since I own an iPhone I wasn't sure if I actually needed an Apple Watch. Once I receive it I was pretty impressed. There are so many apps that can be used with it that makes it so much fun. It has become my favorite thing ever. One unfortunate thing is this particular leather band (modern buckle) did slip off my wrist, well I had my purse straps on that same wrist and when I pulled it off apparently the purse strap connected to the connecting pieces that push in to disconnect the watch band and the watch went toppling onto the pavement. The sapphire crystal saved the day. I now prefer a classic buckle band for safety reasons. 4 stars for that reason alone.

Amazing! I use it every day for work. Im able to read and respond to my messages without pulling my phone out. After a year passed my sensor fell off and because i had apple care i was able to replace my watch for free vs paying $200+ if I didn’t have apple care. Make sure you get apple care on all your Apple products!

In the past few years I have used a different brand of smart watch. I liked the smart watch and the system they were using, but since I had an iPhone I decided to try the Apple Watch when it was deeply discounted? I am glad that I did as I am really liking my Apple Watch which has more capabilities than my other watch. Everyday, I am finding new ways to use my Apple Watch. I highly recommend the Apple Watch. I use my other smart watch when I am charging the Apple Watch. The iPhone lets me have more than one watch connected at a time, so now I am never without a smart watch.

I received an email to purchase this item at $500 off when the Series 2 watches came out. It was $749 marked down to $249.. couldn't pass up a sale like that! Love it, it has the most current update on it that matches Series 1 and Series 2 (this is a first generation.. Series 1 had a dual core processor). Series 2 has a brighter display, totally waterproof, GPS. None of those things mattered to me as I don't run or swim. Regardless, I love having it, have worn it every day. There is a good variety of watch faces, and I love that I can sync my workouts with other workout apps. So far I've recorded indoor cycling rides, it also measures steps, much more. I haven't purchased any optional apps yet, I may not need to.

The leather quality of the band is pretty bad. It was used for 2 weeks hardly and you can see the band looks like it has been worn for more than a year. Also the exercise ring in the activity does not work well after doing calibration steps.

the Apple Watch just got better, and if you have Apple devices, this is the one to get. If you are looking for a full time sleep and activity tracker this may not fit the bill, but if you want a fully featured smart watch to extend your phone on to your wrist this is the one to get.

I got this at a really good price! No complaints. The only major difference from the 2nd generation one is that it is not waterproof which is fine by me.

Both apple rep and Alex in sales where helpful in purchasing my wife Christmas gift look forward having them help her operate the Apple Watch!

Love the watch. Being able to see texts & calls when phone isn't right beside you is great. Looking forward to getting other bands as well.

Great watch, but band too short ----- Should have ordered a large band even though my grandson is average/medium size in clothing, etc.

When my other watch was stolen, I missed it every day. I'm thrilled with this watch and like it even better than my first one!

Great price great product however the bands run super small so try on in store I had to buy a replacement band for this one

I love it! Does everything I want and pushes me to get healthier. Only con is I wish it was water proof
