I was between this and the Fitbit Charge 2 because I thought I wouldn't use all the features. I was just interested in the heart rate, but I'm glad my husband convinced me to get this one. There is all the same fitness tracking like in the Fitbit so that's great. I was concerned I would spend more money for a Watch and not use ANY of the other features but I was wrong. It's nice getting the notifications and being able to look or respond to messages or calls. I have my smart home stuff connected too and that's been easy to access. My last and main concern was the size. I have small arms and didn't want it to look bulky or manly that's the main reason I was looking at the Fitbit but once I tried this one on I loved it. It's not too big for me at all and it looks so sleek. I love that I can change the bands as well. I would say just go for the more expensive one (Apple vs Fitbit) because for not that much more money you'll get more features you might not even know you'll like until later!

I purchased the Apple Watch to monitor my heart rate due to medical problems and decided the Apple Watch was a better fit over the FitBit. Boy I was definitely correct- the Apple Watch has so many more features. The heart rate function works great, and with HeartWatch I can have it saved. Another cool function is the medical alert and ID, where if you hold down the lock button your emergency contacts will be sent. your location and your message. It will also call 911 for you. Then it will show your medical ID until you put in your passcode. I overall love my Apple Watch, I use it everyday! Having my messages and phone calls on my wrist is great, and using maps is even easier with the watch. I do not mind it not being waterproof, but if you are a big swimmer I would recommend the series 2. The battery life is about a day so I charge my watch with my phone at night. I tested sleeping tracker apps and none worked very well anyways. Overall my Apple Watch was a great purchase and I love it! I do recommend getting the Apple Care as I can see it being easy to scratch the screen. If you have other Apple products like a Mac, you can unlock it with your Apple Watch which is pretty cool! You can also use it as a remote if you have an Apple TV.

Purchased this watch for my wife as a birthday present on sale. She wanted to be able to respond to messages and have her phone on her without needing to carry it around. Battery life is subpar if you use the features (siri, step counter, phone calls) but has a easy magnetic charging base that will prevent any accidental knock offs. This series of watch is perfect for someone that doesn't need GPS or water resistance like the next series offers for quite a bit more money.

This watch is beautiful and folks have commented on it. I love the fact that it feels like a tap when you getnotifications. Keeps you connected to what matters most to you in the apps you choose to dock. Love the activity info and workout features.

I have previously owned the Fitbit and Gear Fit 2 with my Samsung phone. I had to replace the Gear Fit twice because the battery quit charging. I switched to an iPhone because I had heard great things about this watch. The feature most important to me is being notified of phone calls and texts. My phone is often in my purse and I cannot hear it. Its great for that. My favorite feature is that I can start my car by pushing a button on my watch! Its an app I installed, but I love it!

I like having a smartwatch to deliver notifications so I don't have to get my phone out of my backpack or pocket. The Apple Watch is still one of the best, as set up is nearly flawless and I've had zero communication issues. It's easy to navigate and is quite intuitive. I think the biggest decision to make when deciding if you really want an Apple Watch is whether you really want to stay that connected and if you want something else to worry about. It requires daily charging (much like your phone) and requires use of another outlet, with a proprietary charger. Forgetting a charger on a trip will render your watch entirely useless. But if you're willing to put up with that, then this is a great choice for smartwatch (and let's be honest, virtually the only choice for iPhone users).

I bought my daughter and my mother the IPhone Apple Watch series one for Christmas. Both my mother and daughter was super satisfied and are very excited to have one. One of the best part of purchasing from Beat Buy is that they price match. Target had the same item for a lower price , I spoke to one of the salespersons and they refunded me the difference with no hassle. Once again thank you. Best Buy. ❤️

I will be used while skiing, biking and hiking - great heart rate monitoring - sleep tracking - cheangable displays - alarm works great - make phone calls through the speaker. - first edition is not water proof -wish for longer battery life. Pretty much needs to be charged daily

I bought this watch because I wanted one of the black faces and bands so this one was a great price and a great item! Sometimes I like the look of the space gray better than the silver stainless steel or the silver aluminum. I always prefer to buy all of my Apple products from Best Buy as I always have. I highly recommend this watch!!

This watch does not have GPS and it is not waterproof, so if you are a runner or swimmer you will want to buy a series 2. This watch does not come with sleep tracking, but you can add an app to track your sleep. You must move your arm when walking in order for your steps to be counted. This watch does not seem to track floors very well on the activity app. Your phone needs to be within Bluetooth range to get texts and calendar notifications.

Great option among all of the smart watches out there. Obviously the choice for anyone with an iPhone. This watch works seamlessly in conjunction with the iPhone. One downside is that it does not have it's own chip so you can't take or make calls without your iPhone by your side at all times. This is a bummer for runners and and other sports fanatics that would rather not be bogged down with their phone. Samsung seems to have the edge here with their S3 watch line as it can be used to make and take calls without a nearby phone! Light enough to take on a run without the brick. I do love the I watch minimalist styling and oodles of apps. It's a fit bit on steroids and exposed to gamma rays! If you have an iPhone this is the way to go.
