I am still learning all the cool things it will do, but my Apple Watch has definitely made life easier. For me, being able to see my texts and incoming calls has been a huge help when I am working in the office. It is nice to know whether it is important without having to be obvious and look at my phone.

I thought about getting an Apple Watch since it was released but felt the price was too high. The lower price of the watch combined with watchOS 3 is what finally convinced me. I read a lot of reviews and watched videos on the updated OS which made the watches functions much more intuitive and simple. I didn't feel I needed the other upgrades on the newer model for the price difference, as gps and swimming aren't important to me and the OS is speedy enough. This was the color and strap combo I had been looking at, so when all the factors fell into place I went for it and am glad I did, enjoying the watch. The main con is that the watch is ultimately useless if you switch to a non-apple brand of phone, but with the minimal investment and overall satisfaction of current day-to-day use I can cross that bridge down the road if necessary. Is the watch essential? No. But again, it's fun and does its job well, and as a bonus it does seem to motivate you to move and breathe more - nothing wrong with that!

I wasn't on the smart watch train until my wife got one and I played with it then I bought one for myself. This watch is awesome with all the features and now I can read and reply to messages without having to get my phone out. I feel lost if I don't get to charge it and have to be without it

    Believe in wearable technology

Honestly, when the Apple Watch first came out I was so excited, then it came out and I tested it in the store and I was disappointed mostly at how small it was in person and just how useless wearable technology seemed to me. After some time I decided to buy a Fitbit Charge HR as a way to track my heart rate in the gym. I was sold on wearable technology at that point. And I figured, I like watches, but I don't like spending a lot on them. So if I am going to spend $400, which I am more than aware is nothing to those serious watch people, I want it to do more than tell me the time. Having the notifications at my wrist when my phone is at my desk or in my pocked it super convenient. Also, being able to take calls on the watch, while seems a little dumb, comes in handy when you can't pick up the phone for whatever reason. Pretty much recommend this watch to anyone who owns an iPhone. And if you don't, go buy one and buy a watch too. If you absolutely refuse, buy a smart watch, you won't be disappointed.

When I got the new Apple Watch, I was sceptical about how often I would really use it. I find I use it more for my fitness tracking than anything. Second greatest use is checking time...I definitely look at my phone less and am finding it quite useful. Wish it as waterproof for swimming, but that will hopefully be in the next generation. Cool gadget and highly recommend.

I picked this up as they were clearanceing them. Half price baby!!! I love this gadget, but if I paid full price I might have a bit of buyers remorse. It doesn't do anything my phone can't do but it sure is handy not having to pull your phone out... ever...

Love the Watch, Had Issues With Open Box

I Love the Apple Watch! The experience is so well designed from aesthetic to technical. I previously had a Pebble Watch, which I loved. This watch just goes to the next level. It feels like a watch, not a computer strapped to your arm. But the smartwatch features are there and a step above all others. The only real issue I have with it, is that Siri on the watch and Siri on the iPhone don't play well together in my car. If I say "Hey Siri, call Mom", the watch usually picks it up and tries to make the call from the watch speaker, instead of letting the iPhone/car bluetooth handle it. I hope Apple fixes this in a software update. I did purchase open box, and unfortunately, Best Buy didn't follow procedures when it was returned. So the watch was still attached to the previous owner's iCloud account, rendering it useless. Best Buy took care of the issue and exchanged it, but this created a highly inconvenient situation.

    Discovering new things each day

I originally got this as a way to track my physical activity, but I keep discovering more features each day. I get my text messages from the watch, appointments, calls, reminders, etc. The haptic touch feature is great to, a quiet way to get reminded (which I really needed). I haven't worn a watch is almost 30 years, but now I enjoy wearing this one each and everyday!

i think this is a step above and beyond using a regular watch looks classy and very functional a little more than i am used to but nice to have other applications on your wrist takes some getting used to ... i am pleased with the product.

My husband absolutely loves this band with this Apple Watch! He has since added other bands to his collection but originally chose the watch with this band. Watch works great and he loves the new updates!

I purchased this right before Apple announced the new Series Watches due to a sale. I didn't know how useful the watch would be at that point. As the title of the review indicates, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The convenience of seeing notifications quickly on your wrist and being able to judge whether they need acknowledged has been a big plus for me. In addition, I really enjoy the fitness tracking aspects of the device. The Activity rings are a great motivator to stay active: stand and move for at least a minute for 12 hours, complete an active calorie burn goal and exercise for 30 minutes to meet the daily goals. I have found myself wearing the watch almost all the time. Great device.

I didn't know if I wanted to spend that much for a smart watch. I'm glad I did. This was a replacement for a lost Fitbit. The apple watch keeps track of all my activities and much more. At first the watch is a little intimidating. After a few days you find there's nothing to it. I like the fact that for most settings, you can mirror your iPhone (if that's what you use). I've only had the watch for a few months, but it appears to be able to handle any conditions. That being said, it is not water proof howvever. In all I'm glad I purchased the Apple watch.

As an OG Pebble and Pebble Time Steel user I really love the Apple Watch. Not that the Pebbles were bad, but they left me wanting for more functionality with the iPhone. The Apple Watch is great for getting notifications and for tracking activity but you can also interact with messages and emails. You can reply with Siri or scribble, which actually works pretty good. Yes the battery life is nowhere near what the Pebbles get but it easily gets me through the day. The screen is crisp and vibrant and easy to read. The Taptic vibrations are quite nice. Just enough for you to notice them without disturbing anyone around you.

I really wasn't sure whether I'd like this watch. I haven't worn a watch on a regular basis since cellphones could tell time. That's a long time to go without something strapped around your arm. I wasn't sure if the features and benefits of this thing would justify such a physical adjustment. Well, I am pleasantly surprised. I use this thing like crazy. I often miss the sounds and vibrations of my phone when it's in my pocket and I'm in a loud environment. Now I can definitely feel my alerts whenever they come in. I have apps I use every day for controlling my home security and AC as well as my vehicle security and remote start. I love the heart rate monitor, and had no idea I'd get into the physical routines so much (like getting up from my desk and standing/walking around every hour when it reminds me to). I've downloaded a weather radar app, a complex calculator/conversion app, and a lighting control app (Philips Hue), which I also use regularly. The ability to control my iPhone's camera while seeing a live view of the image on the watch has come in handy several times already when taking family photos. Really glad I bought this thing. Also, unless you really just want bragging rights, there's no great reason to buy the more expensive stainless steel watch. The glass on this more affordable aluminum one is awesome, and the aluminum body is more resistant to scratches than the more expensive stainless steel one is. As for the bands, do yourself a favor and save your money. There are many very affordable third-party bands out there. No need to spend the amount of Apple's outrageous prices on watch bands. Just go to the Apple store and try to buy a stand-alone band Milanese or leather band to see just how much extra you're paying for those when buying the more expensive stainless steel watches.

Cool watch with a lot of flexibility and features. Battery lasts about 2 days. I purchased it primarily for fitness tracking. I would probably pick an alternative band next time. A bit more money than I think it's worth.
