Going from Ultra 1 to 3 was worth it! So glad I upgraded.

Upgrading from a Series 5 to the Ultra 3 is a massive step forward. Honestly, more than I expected. The interface feels instantly familiar, but the added features make it feel like a completely new experience. The size is perfect for my wrist, especially paired with the Ocean Band, and the battery life is incredible. I’m easily getting two full days, sometimes three, on a single charge. Coming from the Series 5 that could barely make it through the day, this alone is a huge win. A quick note on the finish: the black coating looks great but isn’t the toughest. If you work with your hands or tend to bump into things, you might want to consider the standard titanium finish to avoid stressing over small nicks or scratches. Now for the Open Box issue. I bought the watch at $100 off in “EXCELLENT” condition, which the site describes as including all parts and accessories (with packaging being the only variable). When I picked it up, the watch actually came with all original packaging and paperwork—but the charger was missing. Kind of an important piece for a smartwatch. I tried calling the store I purchased from, since it’s not exactly close to me but you can’t reach anyone in the store directly. You get routed to a call center instead. After 10–15 minutes on hold, I was told I’d have to return the entire watch so they could “inspect everything,” then wait for another Open Box unit to be found and shipped. All of this… just for a missing charging cable that should’ve been included with an EXCELLENT-grade item. I called again hoping to reach the store but again still sent to some call center, and the second rep basically said that even if it’s labeled EXCELLENT, it still might be missing items and there’s nothing they’d do about it. Pretty wild considering their own definition says otherwise. At that point, it wasn’t worth wasting gas driving back only to be told to return the whole thing anyway, so I just ordered an OEM Apple charger off Amazon for cheap. Again, not a HUGE deal to me since I did get a great deal on it but maybe check everything before leaving the store just in case. Love the watch but the Open Box handling definitely needs some work.

Given my lifestyle (tech-savvy, travel, fitness, deployments/field style hybrid, streaming/gaming desk time, multi-use home life) the Apple Watch Ultra 3 fits nicely. I’ll get value out of the battery, ruggedness, fitness tracking, travel connectivity. If I were mostly desk-/gym-only and rarely using off-grid or field features, I might have opted for a lower-tier watch and invested the savings elsewhere. So in short: if you’ll push it — take it on rugged days, long travel blocks, outdoor runs, remote spots — then yes, it’s a strong buy. If your use is more everyday and modest, weigh whether you’ll really use the “Ultra” features.

Great watch. It’s considerably larger than my previous one. The band that comes with is a little cumbersome. And with tighter wrist shirts the watch. The features are great as is the battery life

I'd been looking at and considering an upgrade since my Apple Series 6 Nike Watch was beginning to not hold its charge and literally drain in a matter of 2-3 hours. Granted I had a good 5 year run or so with it! at first I couldn't get myself to bite $800.00 for an Ultra 3 and if i were going to purchase a new apple watch, I could've gotten the latest series 11 that is out at a fraction of the price. Except I am a "geek" if you will, If I were to get anything electronic, I would have to find the best option with the range of what I'd like to spend. Fast forward a few days and all the BF sales are being released, and to my disbelief, I noticed the Apple Watch Ultra 3 (GPS + Cellular) 49mm Titanium Case with Black Ocean Band (2025) for $120.00 off as a BestBuy Doorbuster -- I jumped on the opportunity at 11:53PM, few minutes before the cut off. Unfortunately I couldn't find my BBuy card to rack up the member perks, but I cant win 'em all, right? One benefit I really appreciated was the 24 months of Apple Care on all my products -- versus having to purchase it separately. I've only had this for 1 day but the battery life alone and the clarity of the dial is something I don't think I'd be able to downgrade from; LOL, Hope this review helps you in your purchase! If you’re into tech and you have to have a watch, then you must Have the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The longer battery life as well as being able to be out in the elements whether you’re diving or going on a crazy hike this is a reliable watch that you can count on whether you’re at work or you’re at the gym on the treadmill. With so many accessories and bands, you can get you can wear this either casually or even in a professional environment. This is by far the best smart watch out there and I love my watch.

I was worried about the bigger size and the cost. Buy the Apple Ultra 3! Fits the contour of my wrist and doesn't feel bigger than the 43mm watch I had before. I can read the messages with just a glance and easy to navigate through the different apps. Stays charged for two days. Crystal has been bumped several times and no scratches. Awesome watch!!!

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 (49mm Titanium) is incredibly durable, surprisingly lightweight, and packed with features. Extremely impressed with the Ultra3. I was way over due for an upgrade as I previously had a 6 series. The battery life is amazing! I could easily go multiple days without charging. Love the bigger screen and sleek look. Doesn’t hurt that Best Buy also had an amazing Black Friday deal. Love everything about this watch

The best aspect of the AWU is its battery life. This alone makes it worth it over other models. Not having a percentage of your brain constantly checking to see if you need to charge is so liberating! Shortcuts and automations take Apple Watch to the next level. I use them to control the lights in my house and set different watch faces for different times of day. Health metrics tracking. It’s 2025, there’s enough science out there about health that if you’re not actively taking care of your body, you’re digging yourself an early and uncomfortable grave. It’s truly life-changing to get fit. The Apple Watch is like a compass for navigating personal fitness. Having a cellular-enabled phone/wallet/text messenger on your wrist is the stuff of the future and worth it even if you only use it a few times a year. I use it primarily for runs and leaving my phone behind when I go to the gym. Feels so nice to not be tethered to my phone!

The Ultra 3 is easily the best Apple Watch yet. The titanium build feels premium and rugged, the brighter screen is fantastic outdoors, and battery life comfortably lasts two days. GPS accuracy and fitness tracking are excellent, and the new safety features (satellite SOS, dive-ready depth sensor) give real peace of mind. It’s a bit large on smaller wrists, and the price is steep if you don’t need the extreme-sport features. But if you’re in the Apple ecosystem and want the most capable smartwatch around, this is worth it.

Best Smart Watch I've ever owned. I've used several, from several generation of iWatches to a Garmin. This one just hands down works. Great for anyone in the Apple ecosystem. The battery life and fast charging makes all the difference.

Only had the watch about three weeks, but so far super impressed. I upgraded from a series 6 Nike edition and am blown away by the battery life and love the larger size. Also have fallen in love with the sleep tracker. So many features I know I haven’t even discovered yet, but so far very impressed

Excellent watch that has many options and functions. Looks good great style. Provides options to monitor health and fitness. Fits well and is made well. The display provides lots of information and looks good.

I upgraded from the AWU1 and the battery life on the AWU3 is AWESOME. It charges fast. From 45% to 80% in 10-15 minutes. I can easily get 2.5 days if setup correctly. VERY pleased! Cons: I want more watch faces or more customizable watch faces.
