With just a basic purchase you get 1 year parts and labor and 90 days phone support. With Apple Care you get 3 full years of parts and labor and 3 full years of phone support. If a program goes crazy on you Apple will walk you thru all the steps to fix it over the phone for 3 years. And if a port goes out on the computer it is covered for 3 years. More and more every part is tied to the logic board ( mother board on a PC) and you have to replace the whole board They do not just replace ports. And for $169 for that 3 years of coverage you would be foolish not to purchase it. I used to work on Apple computers and I am a Certified Apple Technician and I have seen the repair costs and I would purchase Apple Care for any Apple product I buy.

I bought the AppleCare+ for iMac when I bought the iMac Desktop. I've had a MacBook Air Laptop since 2014, and although I've never needed the laptop repaired, I didn't want to chance it with the iMac desktop that I plan to use for a business venture. Hopefully I won't have to use the 3 Year Plan I purchased, but it's important to know that the iMac Desktop is covered and will be up and running when needed. Thank You Best Buy!

I LOVE AppleCare for apple products. I bought it for my first iMac, years ago. You can call them and ask anything. No question is too stupid. They always act like they're thrilled to help you. I can only speak for my own experience with them but I've never had a bad experience with the AppleCare folks. I highly recommend it to anyone buying a Mac. I took notes as they helped me and now have a huge file of very helpful info for when the coverage expires. I've referred to my notes many times since then and when I bought another Mac, it was a no-brainer that I wanted AppleCare for this unit also.

I recently bought the Apple - 27" iMac® with Retina 5K display (Intel Core i5 (3.7GHz) - 8GB Memory - 2TB Fusion Drive - Silver). I've never had such a large laptop, but I am very glad I did. For the last several years, I've been using a MacBook Air - not bad, but that was my major work station, and it was too small. The setup was seamless - happy about that, as was migrating to the new computer. The color is beautiful, and the sound is the best I've ever had with a desktop. Overall, I love my new Mac.

The Apple iMac usually doesn't have a problem, when you do having AppleCare+ is great to have. You can contact them and in most cases it's a software issue and they can help you, the other times your covered when it other you have to physically bring the iMac in. You are covered, I would recommend AppleCare+ to anyone buying an Apple product, I'd rather have and not need it than need it and not have it.

I always buy this protection for any Apple product I buy, whether for myself or someone else. I bought my grandson his first iPod when he was a year and a half old. (He's 12 now.) Needless to say, we used it. Every time we have needed it over the years for multiple devices and not once did we ever have a problem. It is a bit of an investment on top of the over priced device, but it has proven to be worth it.

I would not purchase an apple product without Apple care. If I need help I just call them. It sure beats making an appointment in International Plaza, driving there, waiting in line••••. I save time, money and all the stress of driving in Tampa Bay! All of the men & women who have helped me are super. I always learn something new- something that makes using my Apple product even more fun!

I usually don't buy purchase protection warranties, but I have purchased it for some Apple products and it has paid for itself and then some. I won't go into long detail, but I had a computer that I purchased it with. Later, after the 3 years of coverage, I had a major issue. Apple swapped the computer out with a brand new, current model. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done by Apple.

I feel safe knowing that I have this 3 year plan on my apple computer. Apple devices are not cheap, and rarely break, but when they do, in less than 3 years, it can be pretty pricey. Pay the extra bucks and protect your device at least for 3 years. Devices are usually relevant for that long. Update and severa other factors could make you change to a new device.

My wife got a new desktop iMac (her 3rd in 15 years), and we always get the AppleCare+ 3 year plan. It came in handy when we were "newbies" and had to call Apple a few times. We got the plan again due to the heavy use of her computer (7 to 9 hours daily). Frankly, we don't expect Apple products to malfunction, but it made sense to get extended protection at an affordable price.

I could never make a purchase of an Apple computer without also purchasing the AppleCare protection plan. This is the best investment. Assures us of peace of mind should a repair ever be needed. If you experience a hardware problem or be in need of an accidental repair, you would be covered at a greatly reduced expense. Apple also has very good 24/7 support.

I have always repaired all of my desk top computer before, but I am not about to even attempt to repair any APPLE product. I will leave it up the pros. I was delighted to find out that Best Buy does repair Apple, other wise I would have had to probably ship it or drive it out of town to have my new APPLE iMac 27” repaired if it needs to be repaired.

I've had AppleCare for about a year now and I'm so pleased that I purchased it. Whatever it was that I may have called them for, whether technical or if I needed help just understanding how and what is # someone? They help me in getting around computer and my phone apps etc. They've proven to be in my book, heaven sent! Great service guys and gals, keep up the good work AppleCare+!

I recommend everyone purchasing apple care. It wil save you money in the long wrong if something goes wrong with your apple product. Learned the har way with a mac book air that the screen got cracked. Payed almost 500$ to repair. With the apple care it would have been 100$.

I’m a firm believer certain products require protection plans these days since they’re not made as well as they used to be it’s nice to know if something can be replaced or even fixed with the amount of money some products are costing these days

Apple products are extremely reliable and trouble-free. They are also an investment and should be protected with AppleCare, which is very reasonably priced. I have always purchased AppleCare and the peace of mind that comes from knowing my product will be cared for in the unlikely event of a failure. On the few occasions I've had to use it, it's paid for itself many times over in hard dollars!

Long story short. I got an iMac. They offered the apple care. I didn’t want to spend any more money since we went to the store just to buy a cheap little laptop and ended up with a lot more. My husband insisted and I’m glad he did. I had couple glitches that would if costed me money but it was all taken care of with the apple care. Spend the extra money and buy the care plan. I’m sure glad I did.

I’m glad I purchased AppleCare for my Imac! I was installing MAC OS Big Sur and during install, the WiFi cut out and caused an error... my iMac wasn’t reading Any drives or OS on my system but an AppleCare rep walked me through the process of restoring everything and updating to Big Sur

Computers are becoming more complicated in their issues so this was a no brainer to purchase for three years as computers become more and more sophisticate so it's always good to have support as long as you can if you plan on keep it for long durations. it adds up to $4.70 a month for three year support Already use tech support and it was a breeze for them to help me.

When I was unable to use my new iMac after Geek Squad setup, I called AppleCare. Through several calls and excellent help, I was able to setup and have several questions answered. Still have more to solve in this new iMac journey but I have full confidence that AppleCare will be more than able to handle it.
