Plain and simple whenever I buy any Apple products I always buy AppleCare as hands down it is the best warranty you can buy for your Apple products.
I have used AppleCare many times and every single time I have always been taken care of with no questions asked.
Point blank if there is a Problem Apple will take care of it and make sure you are Completely Satisfied if you need to ever use your AppleCare.
That and the extra phone and tech support is the best in the business

Whenever purchasing electronic equipment that cost me Mucho Dinero, I always make sure to cover it with insurance. We do it with our cars, we do it with our homes, we even do it to ourselves, so why not the products that we use every day that benefit us in every way? I like knowing that if something goes wrong with my Apple product I can bring it in and get it taken care of. I highly recommend purchasing your peace of mind when you get your Apple product.

I have used this warranty in the past on other Apple devices and I have not been disappointed. Apple's customer service is very good in my experience. The reason I choose to purchase this for my device is because I am a college student and I carry and use my device quite frequently, so the chance of accidental damage is very high.
And on an iPad Pro to replace a cracked screen is $500 so the warranty was far cheaper than any parts for the iPad would be.

I really love Apple products, but I hate going to their stores to buy things. I find the crowds lollygagging about to play with things annoying, and they really need to fix their customer service experience. AppleCare is a nice way around all this.
That said, IF you need AppleCare, this is a great investment. It's disappointing that the standard phone support warranty for Apple products is so short without this extension, but to be fair most of Apples products are very intuitive and if you run into any problems it'll probably be in the first 30 days.
So why buy this? I bought it for my mother's iPad for a simple reason: I can't be there 24/7 for her. Do you think you'll need assistance? Then this might be worth it. Do you drop your stuff? Are you going to crack the screen? Then this cost (plus the deductible, up to two times) might be worth it.
I know how to use my Apple devices, I know where to find help, and in the 10 years I've owned cell phones, I've only dropped them from a high height about 3 times. I'm careful, and in extreme situations I slip on a case (yeah, I actually go bare most days).
I would never buy this, but if you fall into the categories above, this might be a wise investment, especially for the typical two year life cycle of a phone.

If you are buying a tablet for an active teenager, preteen or child under 10, this is a must since they, or their friends, will eventually drop it, smack it or drop liquids on it. The return does require you to wait a few days to get a replacement but it is hassle free with about a $49 payment.

I don't typically purchase these protection plans, but did for this iPad. One year into the plan the iPad would not charge. Took to BB for service. They had to be mailed back to Apple, but about 2 weeks later received a new iPad as a replacement, same model, color and memory as the original.

Here's an honest opinion about Apple products: They are highly sought after and people go nuts to have the best of the best, latest models, but they do have problems. While I have heard anecdotal evidence of outstanding Apple customer service, I myself have never experienced it. My Apple experiences have been more along the lines of "The customer is wrong, if there's a problem, the customer caused it and is too stupid to fix it". I have had issues with Apple products in the past, without the benefit of the Apple Care coverage and been denied service by Apple. Once I realized that they will not cover or warranty their products (looking for any reason to void a warranty) I have always paid for the additional coverage of the Apple Care and it's worth EVERY PENNY if there's ever an issue with your Apple product. If you are going to use Apple, always get the Apple Care; otherwise you will be out a thousand bucks to purchase a replacement. Buy the Apple Care!

All Apple products are very reliable, but if the fail they are expensive to fix. AppleCare+ now has basic accidental damage insurance in addition to warranty coverage and the secret plus is being able to call the excellent Apple Support team with any question about the device's usage or how to use Apple apps on one.

I never buy anything from Best buy that I dont buy a care plan on. Let's face it, accidents happen to the best of us. I have used Best Buy plans in the past and have never received anything except quality. The service plans cover your product and gives you peace of mind. I have never received a hassle when needing to use any plan and they explain right there what is covered so there are no surprises.

I have not had to use it yet but it gives me peace of mind knowing that a four year old has the tablet most of the time and this was not a cheap investment. For the money spent it was cheap for the protection you get. It’s a worthwhile investment in my opinion that helps to justify the money spent.

We bought this Apple Care + when we bought our new iPad and it's a good thing we did! A few months after the purchase my Sweetheart managed to drop the iPad on solid concrete, need I say more! AppleCare + to the rescue and they replaced the broken iPad and did so in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks AppleCare+

Definitely worth the extra money. After year when the warranty was expired. We were able to use this extended warranty to get my daughters iPad screen replaced for $49. When it comes to Apple products in the price you pay for them you should definitely spend the extra on extended warranty.

I strongly recommend the applecare from bestbuy bcaz they do take care of you right away. If the product breaks or mal-functions ~ bestbuy repairs it and if they cannot fix it : they will GIVE you a new one. My daughter's MacBook AIR screen mal-functioned and they took care it.

Buying the Apple Care gives you piece of mind. Any problem you have just go to an Apple store and the genius help to solve your problem by either fixing or replacing the product if they can not find a solution. I have always get Apple Care for each Apple product I have bought and continue doing it.

I have the iPad Pro 12.9 with 256 GB, so not cheap, but a great device. As it’s larger and heavier than most tablets, I had some concern about repairs. For $99 you get 2 years coverage and that includes some "dropped it" incidents. Read the details first, but for me it looks like a good deal - but I bought a nice portfolio case cover too!

Anytime you buy a apple.product you should always purchase applecare. It's only 100 dollars for 2 years which is 50 dollars a year and the piece of mind you have knowing your product is protected. I love bestbuy and the type of insurance they provide and also the support but for pennies a day you can not go wrong with apple support.

It’s good to know that we are covered in the event of an accident. We didn’t purchase the apple care on our previous iPad, and unfortunately, our child accidentally dropped it. Lesson learned: buy the insurance!
