    After needing AppleCare after shattering the screen on my old iPad a few months in, I always get it. I do recall them taking months to fix it, but maybe its more effective now.

    Have used Apple Care for all my Apple products. Thr one time I needed to use it repairs were completed quickly and as it fell within warranty period, wea free. Just gives me peace of mind.
