AppleCare has paid for itself. I don't know about the M1 Macbooks, but we have had many issues with the latest generation Macbooks. Applecare is the only thing that has saved us from having to repurchase a few laptops (work). On a personal note, I like to purchase AppleCare on headphones and certain Apple accessories.

I have recently purchased apple care for my new 16" MacBook and it has given me peace of mind. Before, I used to own a 13" MacBook and I was so careful with it. However one day a little bit of coffee got behind the keyboard and damaged the screen. It was going to cost $800 to fix without apple care. So while apple care is pricey, fixing a laptop is much pricier.

Since apple is always out to gouge there customers this is a MUST saved me during a bad pinch which one might call a manufacturers/design failure. At least i didnt have to pay the exorbitant repair costs out of pocket...hopefully my laptop lives longer than this warranty cause if not this will be my last apple product.

We have purchased the AppleCare+ protection for my son's MacBook to have peace of mind in the situation it will stop working properly. From what I understood it is effective not only for repairs, but also for a complete replacement with a new MacBook, if it cannot be repaired. After the two years we will extend the AppleCare+ protection further.

If you think you don't need Apple are, then you're just throwing your money away. I made the mistake of not purchasing AppleCare when I purchased my MacAir, a year later just after the warranty expired, I spilled wine on it and the motherboard was gone. It cost me over $800 to get it fixed.

always great to have just in case. More expensive than previous years but technology happens and always good to have just in case. You never know what can happen. I went to buy my MacBook Pro and apple care at Apple and they were sold out and did not know when they were getting more in. Was told to try Best Buy and they price match.

For anyone who spends long hours working on their computer, I recommend Apple Care + as a great ‘insurance’ against potential problems you may face down the road. My computer is essential to my line of work and this provides great peace of mind!

Absolutely love my macbook pro, wouldnt spend that kind of money though without having the piece of mind with a warranty. A definite must have!!

I purchased the Apple Care for my MacBook Pro & I am getting the best of two worlds. I can call Apple for help or go into an Apple store. But because I got my laptop at Best Buy & purchased my Apple Care though them, I can go to Best Buy for whatever I need. In fact, I could have had them set up my laptop had I needed that help. I have had good experiences with Best Buy's Geek Squad in past years.

its great reassurance for me to have this warranty, a bit costly however knowing such a machinery will have additional coverage under warranty after the one year manufacturer's warranty makes me sleep better at night. We use this as the family lap top, I have two kids in middle school and high school so we all get some utilization in graphics for projects etc hence needing warranty.

AppleCare is great insurance if you need it. I always buy AppleCare for my laptops, and occasionally I've bought it for other desktop computers....but alas, I've never had cause to use it. My past experience with over 20 Apple computers since my first one in 1984 is that they never die.

I just recently purchased a Macbook pro and having apple care is such a peace of mind.. It it gets damaged or stops working I'm covered to have it fixed or replaced of needed and in only have to pay a small deductible.. Don't hesitate to get this.. Its totally worth it especially after making large purchases..

As a Mac user we know that we have to protect your investment, I always choose to go for apple care, why? its simple I love my stuff so I want to be cover if anything happens, some people would say, eyy thats trowing your money into trash can, for real!!, you get the best protection for your device, all the apple support its great, and come on its not that expensive!!!

It's always a good thing to having peace of mind, knowing if something should happen to my MacBook, I can get it fixed without having to come up with a large sum of money all at once! So with that said protecting my investment is important to me and what better way to do that than purchasing Apple Care!!!!

I could not see myself paying over $3000 for a macbook pro and not having it covered. I've heard too many horror stories from people who didn't. Money does not grow on trees. I knew if something happened to it, it couldn't be easily replaced. I feel a lot better with it, even if I never need it.

I can honestly say that I have not had to use this yet but the feeling that I get knowing that if the unthinkable happens I am protected. Apple products don't come cheap so I advise you to protect that product. And the fact that best buy can do the repairs or replacement is a bonus.

If you’re going to invest thousands of dollars in a high end quality laptop computer you should do your best to protect it! AppleCare is well worth the investment to protect your system. I wouldn’t want to have to spend thousands of dollars to replace my laptop because I didn’t want to invest a bit more to protect it. Get the AppleCare!

AppleCare not only provides an extended warrenty. It provides unlimited phone tech support about with initial set up or questions about any issues that arise during use months later. Well worth the expense if one is not tech savvy. AppleCare reps know their products and are extremely helpful.

It's always best to buy the support. You may need it, you may not. But it's always cheaper to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. So... insurance! In the past, I have gotten great value from AppleCare... I just haven't needed it, thankfully, on my new purchase.
