MacBooks are reliable and relatively tough. Had my previous one for 9 years and never needed apple care. I get apple care because the devices are expensive and protection is always good.

You cant go wrong with Apple Care. Had to use them when my Iphone was lost and got a brand new phone in the mail the next day. Customer service is also top tier, no “buts” just results.
