We bought this laptop for our daughter for college and she loves it!

I have not had to use it yet but I already know that it is very well put together and if I need to use it I know exactly where I need to go

even if yiu think you dont need apple care something always happens. you never know. just do some extra shifts to pay for the insurance you need. just like a car, phone, or house. get insurance.

I almost never have to use extended warranties, but the few times I needed them, they were really worth it. If you can fit it in your budget, I highly recommend it.

Spending a lot of money on a MacBook can be daunting. Having a three-year "insurance" program provides a little peace of mind.

Spring the money and get the AppleCare. I didn't get one for a MacBook Pro for my daughter when she went to college a few months ago. Unfortunately, she sustained a small crack on the screen which is causing vertical lines on the display. Without AppleCare, the cost to replace the screen at the Apple store is close to $750. With AppleCare, $99.

I had a Mac before and didn’t have this, but I knew I needed it once I heard about it. It’s so nice and gives me peace of mind knowing if something happens, I have a little cushion after spending $1100 on a computer.

100% worth it especially if your a clumsy person. It is definitely pricey but I think the most you pay when you take it to geek squad is like a hundred bucks which isn’t bad compared to taking it somewhere else.
