I wouldn't it recommend the 3 year protection, if you occasionally use your Mac. This computers as really good I feel it's a waste of money having to purchase the protection plan.

I would have preferred that the sales person explain the difference between what was already warrantied versus the AppleCare Protection Plan.

With the cost of a new Mac, getting AppleCare is an extra bit of money, but I think well worth it to make sure the investment is protected.

If you get this, don't let bests buy talk you into the virus protection. Even apple support saids you don't need the virus protection.

Purchased after sales associate suggested. Not a huge fan of warranty but with the t2 fusion I decided to purchase on iMac.

If I could give this place a 0 I would.. Waste of time to bring anything to be fixed here they are incompetent!!!!!!!. Brought my iMac in to be repaired twice, and both times it came home and did the very thing I sent it in to be repaired for.. A friend recommended YouTube to see how to fix my problems and I did the repairs myself. could have saved myself a lot of money knowing this first.. As my friend said anything you need to know is on YouTube.

Nice people but not impressed by their knowledge of garage band. Could not get Imac to communicate with my 88 keyYamaha keyboard. Had to return the imac. Best Buy cust serv wasn't happy. they suggested I take the computer and my 88 key Yamaha keyboard to the apple store for help. Are you kidding me? Just leaned I'm banned from returning items for a year. and I'm an elite plus customer. :This is BS. Don't suggest buying any apple products at BB, after this.

I loke geek squad better than this of apple's. But you cant buy any other insurance except thiers.

this only protects against your mac blowing itself up pretty much...i don't see the point if i can't break it on accident and then use the protection from myself. macs are made well. the likelihood you'll need this is pretty slim

A pencil holder tipped and tapped my screen edge which resulted in a noticeable chip. No coverage. Still need it for other protection.

I have contacted AppleCare 4-5 times with no success in resolving issues with this iMac.

We talked in depth with a rep for Apple who was in the Best Buy store. He suggested getting this coverage so that we can call for support and sign up for classes at the Apple store for more than just the initial month or so grace period they used to have to sign up after buying an Apple product. Also, when you invest this much money in a computer it's a great idea to have this coverage!

They helped me set up my software, iCloud, and virus protection. The helped change an old ID and password, which turned to take some time. They we polite, professional and corrected all problems while explaining new things I need to know. It is well worth the money.

We always buy AppleCare with our Apple products. Great customer support at the Genius Bar, online, and over the telephone. This is one of those things you hope to never need, but it’s great to have the coverage if you do need it. Our experience with Apple support has been excellent.

Helps keep your expensive machine protected. Apple machines now a days come all soldered together and repair ability has gone down significantly.

Its a necessity when buying an apple profuct to get a protection plan because you never know what could happen.

Warranty for Apple products is a must. Not many people can work on their equipment if something does go wrong.
