AppleCare+ is definitely needed for all Apple/Beats products. It's a no-brainer to buy from Best Buy since it is included for FREE if you are a TotalTech Member. Which I highly recommend because AppleCare+ cost an additional fee elsewhere.

I would very highly suggest that you become a Total Tech Member as you get 2 years of protection on most products for free. If I am not mistaken, Apple Care is included as well.

Great to have for your Apple products. Only downside is the service plan is only good for two years after that you were on your own.
