This is just a perfect camera for any open or hard to reach areas. I have felt a lot more comfortable at home knowing I can see the blindspots I couldn't see before. Super easy set up, long battery life. Very well done product, I would recommend to anyone.

No muss no fuss installation. Set it up with the optional solar charger. Put it above the driveway to look out for car prowlers since we've had some lately. We haven't had any yet but it does great catching all the critters of the night. The flood light works good and you get color photos at night when it's on.

Very easy to install and the picture is crystal clear! The flood light is very bright, lights up the entire driveway. There are also a lot of options on the app to customize your camera. The camera was on sale for $199.00, normally $249.00, great deal. We bought 3 of them.

Light is super bright and camera quality is good. The Arlo app is ok, could be a little more user friendly, but that doesn’t have anything to do with camera function. Also, really easy installation (I didn’t get the hardwired option). Lastly, definitely the best looking spotlight/camera option I’ve seen!

When this camera first came out on the market, I was immediately interested in getting this camera. But I was not willing to pay full price, so I waited until it eventually went on sale. I already have 4 each Arlo pro 2 cameras, so I am familiar with the app that is used in conjunction with the camera. Instructions are non-existent. Seriously. I pulled everything out of the box, and could guess most of the items and their usage. However I could not find the battery charger for the included battery - and though the profile of the Arlo pro 3 battery is the same, the battery does not fit in my Arlo pro 2 charger. I went online to Arlo to find the user manual, which provided the information on where the battery charger is located (the camera housing is the battery charger) ...and how to open up the body to get to the charger, ...and where is the port for the micro USB for charging. You would think that the manufacturer would include this basic information in their fancy packaging to assist the consumer with getting this up and running - I might take a star off because of the lack of instructions (Well, originally I did mark this product as 5 stars, but am now reducing to 4 stars). It did take a while to install because there is a tiny screw under the unit that you need to align with an attachment "point" within the support base mount that you cannot see after you attach the "arm" to the base mount. After a little work with the screw I was able to get the alignment completed. Soon after installation was complete 100%. After everything was done, the image in the camera (through the app) turned out better the I expected. Since I just installed this today I can't give much feed back on the unit performance, excepts that the unit performs as advertised. After getting everything up and running, I would definitely by this as a gift for a family member or a friend.

There are so many incredible functions and features of this I don't know where to start. The high quality image, the long battery life, the brightness of the light, the easy and user friendly setup, and ease of management. All great. Love them. Highly recommended. Well worth the price.

Excellent system with a super easy install! Even detects the difference between a person, a vehicle or an animal. Love it! We bout the outdoor solar charger and it keeps it at 100% charge even in the darkest of days.

I like the camera. The night video is clear and good color quality. However, I have a great problem that I can't find a replacement battery for it. Arlo is no help!

Overall this is a good product. The camera has a lot of issues with false alerts. Tried for two weeks to adjust the alert zones but still having issues with false alerts. The build quality is ok not great. The light works great. The video quality is excellent. As for battery life, I have the camera plugged in, so I can't comment on battery life. I would give the camera five stars if Arlo zones and alerts worked better. But overall its GOOD.

This is my fourth camera in the Arlo Pro 3 family. I opted for the floodlight this time around. The install was easy as can be, installed above a side door that lacks a proper light. Setup in the app was simple. A firmware update came down immediately and that too went smoothly. But the best part? The floodlight is bright without being harsh. It’s not blinding, but it provides a lot of light along the side of my house. While this may help deter someone with sinister intentions, the real benefit is that it keeps us safe when going up and down the side entry steps at night.

The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera has succeeded my expectations for the past 2 years. The floodlight camera provides excellent range and we are able to customize the specific areas of coverage. No annoying notifications from outside the highlighted area. We also customize how long the floodlight stays on once activated. For nighttime, the light activation is fairly quick and the floodlight definitely reaches beyond our driveway. The battery life is pretty good for about 3 months based on our usage. To recharge the battery, it does take several hours using the 25 foot charger cable (separate purchase). The benefit of the 25 charge cable is that the floodlight camera is still functional while charging. Installation is not too technical with help from online videos. When I attached it to our stucco wall, I realized it was too heavy for the included screws. I purchased 3 stronger stucco-designed screws from the local hardware store which could support the weight of the floodlight camera. The app is easy to use and I'm able to view remotely anytime with the face ID on my iPhone. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera.

So far does the job, night time light could be a little brighter with more coverage. In addition the housing construction could be designed a little better for a more secure and easy fit. Great with tracking motion when it picks up something/someone however sometimes misses people about 10-12 feet away at a slight angle, this needs to be improved as that is where you would hope the camera is at its optimal functionality. Light is super bright and added a solar panel so it stay charged. Without the panel it does deplete a bit more than a normal camera but its still worth it. Makes night shots so much better.

Camera has provided excellent view/resolution. Floodlight lights up wide area. Installation was easy to follow. No issues so fare.

We purchased 2 of them back in January and have loved them! We put one of them in our backyard because our light back there just isn’t bright enough. This flood light lights up the whole backyard, and it has adjustable brightness so it’s not to much to disturb the neighbors! The camera quality on it is amazing, I can all the critters in and out of my yard all night! Overall we love it and would recommend it to family and friends!

This floodlight camera is fantastic. HIGHLY suggest you purchase a solar panel with this, to keep the battery charged. Great for over the garage wireless camera+ light. Sound clarity and video is good. Even shows at night in color. Arlo gives options to turn spotlight off to conserve battery if needed. Would also suggest charging this battery before full install. Recommend for those of you who also don’t want to have anything hardwired. If you’re are looking for a hardwire option, you can also buy the longer cord for a hardwire option.

Great camera quality with a wide view! Love that I can create specific zones for the motion detection and change the brightness of the light.
