You can stick power strips, network switches and cables in them. They really clean up a work area.

A very convenient way to reduce cable clutter

The main unit of the extender sits in the box. There are openings at either end of the box for cables to enter and exit. Once installed, the top of the box can be used to rest things on it.

Mess of cables gone

Cheap feeling

I expected at least the top be of good quality, but it's just a painted piece of plastic. I guess it would get the job done, but I'd rather pay a bit more and have a better quality organizing box that would last.
