I played the original Assassin's Creed several years ago when it first came out, and remember it being very well done, but somewhat repetitive. After taking a 6 year break from Assassin's Creed, I decided to give the second, well received installment, a go. I'm glad I did! It has all of the atmosphere, authentic feeling environments and innovative gameplay that made the first game great, with much more interesting and varied story missions. After blowing through the first half of the story, I'm trying to take longer by completing all of the entertaining and varied (but sometimes tedious) side quests before getting to the end. I've never bought a game expansion before, but now seriously considering downloading the two "left out" memory sequences (if they still sell it). Plus the overarching story between the assassins and tie backs into the legacy of Altair just keeps me wanting more. I have a feeling I'm going to be hooked to this franchise for a while, like many others. And to pick up the most critically acclaimed installment of the series for $15, why not?

Got this one at the recommendation of a Best Buy employee and have really enjoyed it. I like the story, graphics, and quests. Freedom to roam around, do side quests, and practice assassin skills. Fighting response not always as fast as I would like though. Still loads of fun and motivates me to buy others in the series.

Being playing AC for some time now. Probably the best game in the whole series. Some could argue the newest releases have better graphics and are more impressive, but this game's story, cities, missions and game play are the basics of all the others. Safe bet to buy.

I didn't buy this until 6 years after it was released, but I had always heard how fun the series was. This is apparently the best in the series. Main character Ezio Auditore is great, and free running around renaissance Italy is spectacular. I'm not too crazy about the Desmond Miles storyline, but there isn't much of that in the game anyway.

This game is far better than AC, and follows the story to the letter, if you like to kill your targets, without being seen, this game is for you, the new abilities are that you can kill people from hiding spots, like benches, and from the air, so , buy your copy today, and start a masacre.

I love all the Assasin's Creed games, and when Microsoft started XBOX One backward compatibility with some XBOX 360 games, I saw AC 2 was on the list of compatible games and had to get it awesome game.

Great Game at a great price. Assassins Creed 2 is also backwards compatible with Xbox One....

Helps to understand what has happened historically with the main character.

I bought this game for the older teens, but I found the younger ones watching and trying it out. They have become involved in the storyline and research it for the history behind it. I wish the language was not so strong for the younger ones.

I bought this for my teenage daughter, she absolutely loves the entire series of assassins creed. This particular one is her absolute favorites in the series! The price was very inexpensive so we were able to get other games in the collection. For older teenagers I would recommend, definitely not for younger kids.

Interesting story. Not very difficult. Would be better if you could skip the story parts.

I had bought this from the platinum shelf, having missed it when it originally came out. The story is highly enjoyable and picks up right where the original Assassins Creed left off. The levels in Italy are amazingly recreated and highly enjoyable. At this price it's a no-brainer to pickup and enjoy!

Assassins Creed II is an fast-moving adventure with a great mix of history, fantasy and action.

After seeing the movie, my oldest son expressed interest in the games, so we bough this one for him for Christmas and he loves it. He's really into the military type games that require some sneaking around and not getting caught by the bad guys.
