Great game, challenging, and interesting story line.

Great game. Being a pirate is a blast. If you got burnt out with the series give this a shot. Nice change a pace from the previous games. I can just sail around and be a pirate till my hearts content without having to even think about the assassin part and when I'm ready to pick up the main mission I sail into a town.

Continues the great AC experience Ubisoft has created. Plus was fun being a pirate and the sea battles were a nice change of pace of hide in bush, stab guy, run away. Really long game but is that a bad thing? Never got bored and enjoyed the story of both the pirate life and modern day people operating the Animus.

Good twist on the normal ac games. Still has a lot of what you like, but the added pirate warfare is also fun

Hands down the best game in the Assassin's Creed series! The world is wide open and you're able to do whatever you want. Who didn't dream of being a pirate plundering the West Indies while growning up? This game helps fulfill that fantasy and see sort of what being a pirate would have been like in those days.

This game will suck you in from start to finish. It looks so amazing on the next gen console. So much so that I had to take it all in before playing. This franchise is the prime example that not all yearly realeases have to be simple or suck.

Definitely a good pickup if you haven't played. Great game that takes AC mechanics and gives even more.

Loved the original AC and played through half of AC2 before losing interest. Skipped AC3 due to bad reviews, but was excited to get back into this world with this iteration. Great gameplay. You just get lost in the game and don't realize how much real time has gone by... that's the sign of a great game.

Great game great game play open world is a major plus for this game

This year's assassin's creed is visually the best looking ever as you would expect with the new consoles. Aside from that, the addition of the sea gameplay was welcome since there are only so many times you can stalk and assassinate random people before it gets old. You will not realize as hours pass while you try to take out other ships on the high seas

Never played AC before and it is really amazing! Easy to start and good control most of time.

The detail of this game will describe as one epic story, entertainment, great, really get into it soon as you play. Love when the fights begin because has you like epic you and your kid would enjoy so much. The thing I hate about it is that they dont have good defense moves.

Black Flag continues taking the Assassin's Creed story in new and interesting directions, and I'm kind of a sucker for pirate games, so this was an obvious choice for me. Greatly improved ship combat over AC3. Gorgeous graphics really show what the next gen consoles are capable of.

I love the game and the pirate setting. I got the game on sell very cheaply and have enjoyed it. I recommend it.

This is literally my favorite Assassin's Creed game!!! You play on beautiful islands and get to enjoy so many different beaches, forests and towns etc. You will enjoy playing this game and also get to constantly enjoy the beautiful sights!!!!

This game breaks some technical ground for the series with its naval combat, but has everything enjoyable from the rest of the series too. If you are looking for a slightly different take on the Assassin's Creed series it might be worth looking into and picking up a copy if the gameplay and design suits you.

Bought this on the recommendation of the reviews of this game and we were not disappointed, Lots of fun driving the boats but some times it glitches. It would be perfect if they had a patch to get rid of the glitches. Fun to play and somewhat challenging as well.

Once I got started on this game, I just couldn't stop. I was playing after I got done with work, before I went to work, and every day I was off. I wasn't sure how much I would like the pirate theme, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. This game was great.

I skipped AC3 so I can't compare it to that game, but this game has been my go to when I'm not lagging around in BF4 multiplayer. Really like the naval exploration of the world map and the naval battles that you incite are fun to play out. The reoccurring cutscenes that you have to watch every time you board a ship gets old really quick, but nonetheless its a minor complaint. I really enjoy upgrading the ship and having my fleet collect resources to upgrade my ship, as opposed to upgrading those old towns and fortresses from AC2 games. The main story so far (only 41% completed on my playthrough) is okay and it serves a purpose I suppose. Its been awhile since I played and AC game and this is exactly the return to what I was hoping for. My biggest worry again is that I'll probably set out the next game unless they revolutionize this franchise somehow. Gets exhausting to see the same mission types over and over, each year that they spit these games out. This series would be much better off if the focused on a game every 2-3 year cycle.
