This is a great game that the series needed. Origins was great but this took it even further. The world is incredible to explore. Combat is stronger this time and I think if they continue to expand into the RPG realm, the game will keep getting better. If you haven't played Origins, I would recommend that too.

This game is amazing. The game play is fantastic, the story line is on point and the graphics are great. My only complaint is the fact that Ubisoft finally went RPG which I am not a fan of. I hate the million questions to be asked. But I love this game so much it is still getting 5 STARS

This is an amazing game. I am hooked in the story and the graphics are amazing. My only complaint would be the combat system. I did not like having to use R1 and R2 as my attack buttons and Square to dodge. Also R1 + L1 to parry is confusing. Other than that this game is great

Great game play and huge map. Lots to explore and love the fighting. I also enjoy the new battle grounds where you can pick a side and kill many enemies. The ship fighting is really good too. The only thing i would change is being able to focus in even more on the world map.

So far this new odyssey rocks. I wasn't a fan of origins but this game caught my attention and made me a fan again of the games. Now I know it's not much about assassins anymore, but a more RPG like game and I love it. I love having my own choices during conversations, my own actions, and the customization. And the best part about all of this is that we're talking about Spartans. Who doesn't want to Spartan kick someone off a cliff or during an epic battle? The games fighting mechanic is a lot smoother in my opinion. The game looks amazing as well. The visuals are beautiful. I love the combat, the stealth, the ship battles, the overall presentation of the Greek world and mythology is awesome. Whatever ubisoft is doing with assassins creed, they need to use that same approach for their other games like division or ghost recon. Because they got it down right this time around.

The graphics on this game are amazing. Even without a PS4 pro, the game still has HDR and the scenery is great. Ubisoft put out another great Assassin's Creed. Gameplay tip: Get around faster using your horse, boat, and fast travel. The map is huge.

This game was long. I beat the main part of the game and at least most of the side missions as far as I know cause I earned the Platinum Trophy and it took quite a while (I think there was some other small stuff that I missed though...). The game was still fun and was quite an adventure with a lot of action on land and sea. I haven’t even tried the DLC that came with it. I needed a break from the game.

Really the best assassins creed Ive played. The gameplay might have look the same but it is completely different. This edition also came with collectors steelbook, so if you are a big fan than this is defintely worth the pick up.

Yet again, Ubisoft raises the bar with Assassins Creed Odyssey. With reinvented combat, an even larger open world, endless side quests and a exciting main storyline, this game is a must for AC die-hards and all gamers alike.

I totally enjoy this game, I can hardly stop and it goes for hours when I start. Best Assassin's Creed game so far. Love how it took from both Origins and previous premise and the Greek Mythology storyline has me in Heaven.

I personally love the Greek mythology and its history. This game captures that. Just imagine AC:Origins gameplay and AC:BlackFlag naval battle with a new immersive story between Sparta and Athens then this game is for you.

If you like what Ubisoft has done with last year's AC Origins, you will surely appreciate the upgrades on this game. The naval exploration, big maps, and revamped gameplay will surely make every AC fan happy.

Playing Origins was a new experience and this year, Assassin's Creed has improved and made it that much better. The whole story and concept of the Odyssey was really well done. I enjoyed the gameplay.

I loved origins and the direction they are going with the series with the action combat. The story was enjoyable, had great characters and a huge world with fun ship combat. Cant wait for the dlc.

This is such an amazing game and just such an immersive experience. I preordered the gold steel book and it definitely does not disappoint. The map is enormous and the story is very interesting.

The game looks great and it’s fun to play. For the first bit. But it is long so be prepared to settle in. There are three stories going on at once. Alexios as an assassin, alexios trying to find his lost family, and alexios trying to defeat a cult of really terrible people. You don’t have to complete each to beat the game but you get more out of the story if you do.

My steelbook unfortunately arrived smashed, so I had to return it, but the game is great. I've played AC games in the past, and this is definitely one of my favorites. I love the Grecian focus of the game, and the completely open world. The added RPG elements are pretty neat and fun. Definitely one of the better games in the franchise. My only real criticism is that some of the animations during dialog seem overworked...as if the characters are TOO animated. Makes it seem a little hectic or distracting. Overall, though, I love this game. I hope future installments in the franchise continue to develop and perfect this type of experience. Two thumbs up!

This game is HUGE!! Map is bigger than Origins and there is so much to do. Bounties get placed on you and higher level hunters chase you around. 120 v 120 battles and much more.

I will say this come second to Assassin's Creed Origins in my opinion because Origins has a full fleshed-out story. Odyssey is pretty much everywhere but it's not a bad thing. The map is 3 times larger than Origins which was the largest Assassin's Creed map in the series and that means almost in list side missions to build your character, bounties to collect on the heads of mercenaries or mercenaries hunting you, naval missions out the wazoo so if your sea games not up to par I will get cracking on that now or go back to play either Assassin's Creed 3 or Black Flag to build it up. Overall you will not be disappointed in this game.

My favorite parts of the old assassins creed games with a great new story line. The characters are interesting, the gameplay is fun, and the main quest is long but exciting.
