This Assassin’s Creed has a lot of RPG elements, I would argue that they are long overdue and welcome. The map is massive and combat can actually give you a challenge. Worth a look if you are a fan of games like the Witcher.

This game is a great entry to a stagnating franchise. The combat has been revamped and the new rpg elements really add some depth to the familiar template of an assassins creed game. The Egyptian setting and story are also very solid. Highly recommend for fans of the series of those like me that were bored of the series for a while

AC: Origins keeps a lot of the same Assassin's Creed tropes, but does it much better. This game takes from open world games like The Witcher and applies to the AC universe, which is a welcome change. Combat is different than previous games, and definitely takes some time to master. The game is beautiful, especially on PS4 Pro with 4K and HDR support. I definitely recommend picking it up!

Good story, fun environment, and addicting gameplay.

If you are an Assassins Creed fan, you'll love this game. If you are an RPG fan, you too will also love this game. The best way to describe this game is to call it a cross between the Witcher 3 and past assassins creed games. This game has a huge whole, with tons to explore, and a very engaging story.

This game rocks.. love the open world play and do things as you want. Graffics are incredible. Tons of action, fun, great battles, kool size missions and stories. Must have if you've never played before.

The world is huge, and feels like the Witcher 3 world but in an Egyptian setting. Combat is deep and interesting. It almost feels like Dark Souls combat-wise. Wonderful game, highly recommended.

Another good outing to the AC series. Maybe not as good as some of the older ones (AC2 being my favorite - but that could be nostalgia) but a fun game and will keep you busy for a while. Have had a glitch here and there and a crash but that's just a few issues over 40+ hours of gameplay.

Do not get discouraged by the slow start of this game. At first, you will not have many abilities and you might seem like you are just grinding repetitive steps with limited options to level up. Additionally, the second zone you play on the map is in the middle of the dessert, where the graphics are primarily just sand. I am only level 20 at the time of this review, and will say the game improves at all levels, from the strategy to the graphics. Fans will enjoy not having to drive a cart or zone out in button mashing. One complaint is that I can never seem to throw the smoke screen . . .

Assassin's Creed Origin is a great open world game to close out 2017. Great storyline, awesome customization and hours of entertainment in an egyptian setting.

I've played most of the Assassins games, by far this has been one of the best games I've played. Great graphics, and the story looks very interesting.

Bought this game for my son as a X-Mas gift and he loves it. From what I have seen in this recent game compare to his other games is that the graphics are much better than previous games. The story line is very interesting. But what I liked more about the game is that its an open world.

I have played all the Assassin's Creed games throughout the years and can say this is top two ever in the series. The game play and story line is massive - and I won't lie a bit confusing at times - but amazing and completely worth the price. Side note: if you haven't become a game zone member ($30) for two years at Best Buy you're paying FULL price for nothing! I saved 20% off this (and Switch's Mario Odyssey & Zelda games)

Assassins Creed Origins is probably the best game in the series. The story does a great job in showing how the Brotherhood was started. The new RPG elements are very well done and the map is both very large and teeming with life and variety.

Great game to play. Great graphic and a very good storyline

Assassin's Creed has always been a fun series for me. I know going in that it is like a nice home cooked meal. All comfort food, nothing extraordinary or fancy. This series has gotten little stale, it's true, but easy to slip into and still fun. This one freshens up the formula in some interesting ways. New combat system, and a more RPG like feel. It's still Assassin's Creed, and still a fun play, but starting to head into a more interesting direction. They've added a little spice to that home cooked meal this time around.

This is the assassins creed we've been waiting on. They completely revamped the combat system, it ain't perfect but it's definitely better than the previous games. The only thing missing is the multiplayer but I guess they spent all their resources in focusing on single player and it shows!
