My friend didn't recommend me to get this game, but I picked up a piece anywho. With the last success of HITMAN on x360, it brought us a new venture in video games. And this version definitely give it another knot, unisoft very seldom disappoint us gamers... only thing bugs me is between the time frame, a bartender n his ancestor?! wonder what my ancestor had achieved... anywho, lots fun... get it while its on sale, its a steal!!

    Not so good...

I was greatly looking forward to playing this game. I purchased it the day it came out, but found that, after 20 minutes, it really started to wear on me. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are amazing. The story is fairly interesting, too. But the game itself just did not deliver. Besides the fact that it would freeze (not a common incident, but enough to annoy), the gameplay is VERY repetitive. There are only a few types of missions, and the animation / character models tend to be shockingly duplicative. I know there's only so much one can animate, but I really felt cheated here. The game seemed too contrived ("I'm running away...fortunately, there is that haystack I can hide in / those monks to blend in with / those thugs to block for me...again."). I can see how so many people like this game, but I felt like I was just doing the same mission over and over again. In my opinion, best to save yourself the time and money and buy BioShock or Mass Effect instead.

I am not going to spoil anything but I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. The minute i first played, my mind was blown away. After the beginning of the game you're off to do pretty much whatever you want. There are 3 giant cities you can explore if youd like. The graphics are great, the voice acting is great, even the smaller things like being able to see cutscenes from different angles makes for a good time. This game is well worth the money and it will keep you busy for a very long time!

    Fun but no replay value

This game was alot of fun and it is a very long game. There is no replay value once it is over though. There are side goals that involve finding hiden flags. I picked up the ones I passed but didn't bother to find them all. After beating the game it isn't really that much fun going to look for them either. But over all the game is a good game to buy and when you get done with it there is alway ebay.

this is a pretty fun game with some solid graphics. once you beat it though there is pretty much zero replay value. the cities are nice to explore. there is no multi player. the story and graphics are definitely the strongpoints. i would only rent this one.

this is probably in my top 10 best games ever made list. its just so fun and to explore. right now its at a low price so thats good. so its definitely worth the money. but climbing walls and jumping across buildings are sooo cool. riding horses is pretty fun and a lot faster than walking. there are a few side-missions that get kind of boring. but killing people is really cool and also never gets old. any type of gamer can get this game, so this is a game you have to get.

To me this game fell well short of Elder Scrolls Oblivion but is certainly better than Conan or Dark Messiah. Actually, this game is like Hitman without the technology. A fun game to play for a while but a little reptitive and boring in the long run. Great Graphics and storyline will keep most interested though.

    Good start to successful series

First game in the popular Assassin's Creed series, introducing the frame story for the sequels. I would recommend starting with this one, since later titles are more refined (so if you play the sequels, you notice improvements rather than taking them for granted and enjoying the first game less). Probably the biggest flaw with the game is its repetitive nature. Each chapter involves going to a section of a city, completing a few tasks to gain intel about a target, and eliminating the target. The tasks aren't especially varied to begin with, but by the 8th or 9th go around, they start to wear thin, especially with a particular timed stealth mission (which accounts for a large part of the game's difficulty, although you can skip if you don't care about 100% completion, which includes a lot of flag collecting. If you do care about 100%, I would glance at a guide first because there is a missable achievement). The assassination missions are well done, though, and the game itself is pretty fun even accounting for the repetition. I enjoyed the playthrough, even with the late frustration from that stealth mission and missing one flag, having to explore for a couple hours to get 100%.

This is a very fun game when your doing the missions and fighting. The graphics are sweet just like the environments and the controls allow unique combos. It's a crusade version of gande theft auto. Instead of racing around in cars you get a horse and it takes some time getting between cities. Only downfall is the time it takes to get from point a to point b.

A nice break from first person shooters

After getting tired of playing first person shooters, I decided to buy this game for something different. I am glad I did. The game is fun and highly addicting. The graphics are amazing and the environment is unreal. The only down sides are that I AI can get annoying, load time tends to get a bit lengthy, and the controls take a while to get master. Other than that, I would highly recommend this game. You can go almost everywhere and do almost anything, almost like GTA. If you want a break from first person shooters, this is the game to buy.

    Assassins are always cool :)

Assassins Creed is the best assassin type game ive played since Hitman. You get to rome around whole entire cities completing missions and trying to assassinate people who are making the areas bad. I feel like it was almost a little to addicting at first but after a while it simply starts to get a little repetative since all ur doing is finding someone most of the time and having to assassinate them. But i like going through the different cities of the game, some are just plain fun to mess around with because the guards are fun to kill.

Simply put, this game is AMAZING!

This game is the best game of the last year that was not a first person shooter. It offers a fresh form of game play that is fun and sucks you in from the moment you start playing. The visuals are some of the best to date. This game rewards you for thinking about your next move and not simply rushing into a situation. It does a great job at making you feel like a true assassin where stealth and shadows are your only friends. The achievements for finding all of the hidden flags are fun and challenging. Every boss has to be approached in a different way keeping the game interesting. However, running around to every view point and collecting all the information on the "target" can become a bit tedious at times, but are worth the cut scenes that show you the landscape and the jump at the end. (You'll find out what I mean) Also some of the mini-games where you have to collect flags that your incompetent informants dropped before you can get the information that they have are really repetitive and only serve to break up the fantastic game play that the rest of the game offers. The swordplay controls are very easy to use and the moves that Altair pulls off will leave you wanting to run around and get into fights just to see them over and over again. There are only two major downsides to this game: First, there is no multiplayer and second, there is no downloadable content that adds anything to the game. This adds up to the fact that when you are done with the game, you are DONE with the game. Nonetheless, this game is well worth the money even without the replay value.

Great Idea for a game but things get to repetitive

This game is alot of fun and the idea of the game is great. It is definately worth buying but beating the game shows a true effort because by the last kill you are defnding yourself against 100's of bad guys. But overall this game is great... the sequel will no doubt be something great if they can fix some of the things wrong in this one.

Assassins Creed has excellent graphics, even to the point of blood dripping off the swords. While you can usually do the same thing to kill people, its still fun to sneak around and do some of the other tasks. The plot is intriguing, and it's not exactly what I predicted. I had a great amount of fun and will likely play it again soon.

    Game of the Year

This game is excellent. It took me a while at first to get used to the fighting styles but the graphics are phenomenal. It's a RPG type game in the 3rd person view. Having commented on all the good things, I think I should also point out that this game is much simpler than the other games I've played. It's also a little shorter. I wish I liked the ending a little more than I did, I was waiting for something extravagent, but overall a great game and a must play on Xbox 360 with some out of this world graphics.

The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is phenominal. One bad thing is that every level is very repetitive. It would also be nice if there was xbox live or a multiplayer feature. Overall, I would advise anybody who likes adventure games to buy this game.
