If you've played Assassin' Creed series before, in particular Black Flag, everything here is going to feel somewhat familiar. The biggest omission for me is the lack of multi-player. That alone can pretty much cost is a star. Co-Op play was one of the best features of the previous variants of the game. Otherwise you've got a lot of familiar things to do throughout the game. You start off with the intro to the story as you kill a bunch of soldiers and free hostages. Naturally all involving lots of running, jumping, and stabbing. I mean, that never gets old. Not to mention all while being stealthy as possible. After all, this isn't your typical run and gun type of game. You won't get very far dong it like that. I'm still not a fan of the "puzzles" they like to include in-between the real missions, such as when you're fixing computers and such. That still feels like a distraction and waste of time for me. If I wanted to do that, I'd grab my phone! But hey, some folks like that sort of thing. For me I still finding the ship missions the most fun. Right away you sneak on to a ship and take it over after killing the crew. Well, with the continued help of your game AI pal. There's just something awesome about steering a ship, firing canons to blow up other ships, and then ramming them to send the message home. That alone is worth the price of admission. Basically, if you're a fan of the Assassin' Creed franchise, you're going to enjoy playing Rogue. Even if it did kill multiplayer, doesn't bring a whole lot new to the table, nor does is impress with as-expected out-dated XBOX 360 graphics. Otherwise, for the new folks, check out a trailer or walk-through of the game to get familiar with the series. That will tell you way more than you can discover by only reading about it. Enjoy!

Anyone familiar with the series knows what to expect. Another solid game, wish it was avil for current gen as well.

I absolutely loved this game! What a great idea and spin on the series. I won't give away the twists and turns in the story, but just know that it is definitely worth playing and you will enjoy the twists and turns!

Great game however since I didnt play much on the earlier copies of Assassin's creed it took me a bit of time watching youtube videos to help me play this game. Overall at great game at great deal!

I have been a fan of Assassin's Creed since the original title but ... the last two games have really Failed to live up to the legacy. I enjoy the Assassin part of the game ... I detest being forced to spend so much time sailing around. I feel ripped off, it's like they wanted to rush this game out and sacrificed good Assassin game play time with sailing around on a boat just so they could reach that 60+ hours of play time (I did the whole game in 20 by the way because I skipped a lot of the sailing around). Let me list the major reasons this game got 2 Stars from me (and this is just my opinion): 1. WAY TOO MUCH SAILING not enough Assassin play. This is what killed the last game for me, I hate the sailing part. Too much time spent getting places and doing things that are very UN-Assassin like. 2. Another forgettable lead character that felt contrived simply for the sake of putting a game on shelves. I wanted to like this character and really started to about half way through then the story just took a turn that felt like the writers either got lost or bored and just phoned it in. 3. You run into a lot characters form the previous 2 games... but the way it was done, again felt contrived and rather weak. I wanted to like the extra back stories for the ancillary characters, I really wanted to. Now for the reason this game got 2 stars and not just 1 star: When I got to play Assassin game play it was great! I loved it! It's the same system as the last 2 but they made a few modifications and added a few neat features to the game play that keep you on your toes, so it kept me entertained (until I had to board a ship). Sadly disappointed with the direction this franchise took with the last two games... hoping AC Unity returns to the legacy of rich characters, engaging stories, and fun game play. On a side note the time you spend running around the office is kinda fun ... there are a lot of easter eggs like the Prince of Persia Figurine and a few other things. They did go a bit over board on the Far Cry adverts on every desk and office and scattered like litter all over the place.

This is a great game and very exciting to play on the other side of things. It makes the game a lot more interesting and with the fast upgrades on the ship, it makes it a blast to do all the side missions.

Not the best in the series, but worth a try if you're an AC fan!

Bought this game for my daughter who is a big fan of this series. She has played all the games and has finished most of the early ones.

Very good game and not available (yet) on the xbox one, but just wait and I bet it will come.

I like how I control ship and hunting. It was easy to hard game.
