Simplified combat yet more engaging than previous games. Better balance of new and old story lines. Might have saved the franchise.

This AC is probably the smoothest one that they have made. The game play and story is great. Also the Twins are great characters!

Syndicate has been my favorite game of the Assassin's Creed franchise thus far. The ability to play with either Jacob or Evie is a great addition bringing in more strong females to gaming, and giving you the option between a beat-em up brawler in Jacob, to a shadowy stealth approach in Evie. Freeing child laborers, taking down gang leaders, ramming carriages, and taking down Templars has never been this fun. The industrial revolution provides a great setting for this latest installment.

By far the best Assassins Creed game to come out to date. Doesn't get boring like older installments, stays true to story.

I have previously played the assassin's creed series of game on the xbox 360, which I liked very much. Now that I have the xbox one, these games are even better due to the enhanced graphics. Control is about the same on both machines, but these games are more interesting and fun to play as I enjoy games like these where you actually have to apply some thought to progress through the game which makes it more realistic and you feel more immersed in the game. A worth while purchase!

Everyone agrees that last year's Unity was a mess. If you suffered long enough, you saw the promise that the new technology held. Syndicate is the realization of Unity's potential. Smoother gameplay, more interesting missions, and great characters show why once again Assassin's Creed is one of gaming's greatest series.

If you are a fan of the series. This one is by far the best The story line is fast and the distractions are minimal.

What can I say...the graphics are great. The story line is great. The game is great. Best Assassin's Creed to date.

Each year brings a new assassins creed game and I keep waiting to be disappointed. But Ubisoft has yet to let me down and has once again provided me with hours of quality rooftop running, backstabbing, history bending fun. Change of scenery and accent this go around and the addition of the grappling hook like rope blade makes navigating the environment a little quicker. My only complaint is that the characters seem to run a little slower than previous titles, which took some getting use to.

I took a long hiatus from playing Assassins Creed titles since I was disappointed with 3. And while I still think 3 was good I needed to step away. Coming back to play Syndicate has reminded me why I enjoyed the series in the first place and because of it's quality it lead me to purchase Black flag, Unity, Odyssey and the Ezio Collection to experience it all... For the first time and all over again.

My husband loves all his xbox games and says that one has great story line and great graphics

I haven't played a game from this franchise in a while but I'm glad this was the one I jumped back in on. Classic Assassins Creed game play with updated graphics, fighting sequences, and a whole new world. They bring in a great historically accurate, yet fictional cast of characters, as well as hide some gems to keep you locked into the game. Hours of fun and a total steal at the $15 I paid for it on Black Friday. I'm excited to see what's next.

Having played the previous installment in the franchise (Unity), playing Syndicate was miles ahead of its predecessor in almost every aspect. The London map wasn't as animated as Unity's revolution setting, but it still felt like an appropriate backdrop for the game. + Mechanics are familiar to other AC games. + Time-saving Grapple Gun + Much less buggy than Unity. - Storyline leaves some to be desired. - Still a crapton of things to collect, almost to a fault.
