The game itself is great; the 3 star rating is relevant to the condition I received it in. I spent the extra money so I could have this steel-book version instead of just downloading it and it arrived dented in multiple spots. People want a steel-book because it looks nice; kinda defeats the purpose though when it looks like a few horses ran on it...

The graphics are amazing but the way it plays and the button layout leave a lot to be desired.

I like the idea of the axe. All my other Creeds I stayed with the sword. It’s a new type of adventure. Then you add in the idea of building your town and adds a little of of some of my other games. It’s nice new combination of a twist.

If you can get with the newer style of Assassin's Creed games, this one is for sure one to get. Now it isn't the best in the new trilogy, but it does have it's fun features! I felt it was quite enjoyable and, being a Norse Mythology enthusiast myself, felt it was majoritarily accurate!

Throughly enjoyed this game. Great story, tons of side quests, tons of game value, can easily put 100 plus hours in and not accomplish everything...plus their will be DLC for a year..A+++

Great game! I know this review is late to the party. I still like having the actual disk instead of the digital version and Best Buy is still my go-to store.

My son has played most of the AC games and was really looking forward to this version. I personally like the Viking mythology and love to see it included!

I've played about half of the Assassins Creed games and this is one of my favorites. In my opinion, the game mechanics and player controls are on par or better than the ones I've played. I pre-ordered to get the bonus mission just to enjoy the game a little more.

I’ve loved the assassins creed series from the very beginning and was very hyped to hear about this it’s worth the wait I’ve enjoyed it!

I like the game so far, but there are some major game breaking bugs that need to be addressed for it to be 5 stars. First, fast traveling stopped working after patch 1.04. Second, manual saves, quick saves, and auto saves stopped working as well with the only workaround sleeping in your bed at your village, which seems to only work for 10 mins before it breaks again. Finally, the game glitches a lot, and sometimes freezes and exits out completely for my Series X. I hope Ubisoft updates soon because I was enjoying it up to the recent update.

Absolutely gorgeous landscape and mechanics. The nordic story line is one I've been waiting for for years for this game.

My son loves the assassins creed series. Comes with additional features. Another fine addition to the series.

My wife is enjoying this game quite a lot. We look forward to playing it on Xbox Series X when we get one.
