Awesome game a lot more fun and relaxing than I thought it would be! One of the few titles that make owning a PlayStation five worth it in my opinion. The only thing that can make it better would be some form of co-op.

Amazing, quality game for the whole family. Amazing level design, music and balance. I played it until I saw the platinum trophy pop! Well worth the purchase.

Just an absolute masterpiece from level design to graphics to controller and haptics to Dolby Atmos implementation if you have a proper system with ceiling mounted or in-ceiling speakers. 10/10.

If you love platformers, this is an absolute buy(especially if you have been a PlayStation fan all your life). Even if you not a fan of the genre, Astro's Playroom(free game with your PS5) is a great litmus test to see if you will like the game or not.
Crystal clear image quality, great performance at a stable 60 fps, and simple controls with creative level designs - I really can't think of too many faults for this game. Maybe that sometimes sprinting doesn't always seem to work unless you press the analog stick hard?
Just to note the game is easy overall, but there are some challenge levels that will test you.

So much charm!! Astro Bot definitely raises a bar for platformers, there is so much life in the world! I love all the cameos, especially the Persona ones, haha! Playstation has found its mascot!

This game uses the full potential of the Dual Sense controller. Not many games take advantage of these extra features. I wish other companies would take the time to do the same, but it could be due to time constraints and the features just may not add any extra functionality. This is a great platformer that reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine. Running, jumping, collecting coins, you name it, its all included. It's also fun to go through PS's history as you go from stage to stage. It was well developed. I recommend this for a good kids game.

The whole reason I was interested in getting a PlayStation 5 was to try out the built-in Astro's Playroom demo, and to play this game, which is essentially an expanded version of Playroom. Astro Bot is one of the finest platformers to grace this decade, and its shockwaves continue to reverberate throughout all of gaming. A must-play.

Definitely worth the purchase - this game is immersive and beautiful and fully takes advantage of the dual sense controllers haptic features. There are numerous things to collect, hidding levels, and so much to enjoy about this game for all ages.

Astro Bot is a very cute and charming game. The character has a lot of personality as you guide him through the stages, gathering your lost crew and other collectibles. The gameplay is sharp, letting you jump, climb, glide, and punch out enemies easily. Beautiful environments with a wide variety of locales with little secrets to find keeps you engaged.
Only complaint is that there really isn't much challenge to the game. You'll die occasionally, but typically respawn nearby. While there are collectibles on each stage, once you've beaten the stage once there is a helper bot you can hire when you replay it which will indicate when you are close to a collectible and which direction it is in.
Still, this is an E for Everyone title, so it makes sense that it'd be somewhat easy so kids can play it and have fun without getting frustrated. They'll enjoy the bots' antics, and it's fun seeing what situations the bots you have to rescue find themselves in.
Recommended for a fun, easygoing time.

The bottom line here is that Astro Bot is just a fun game, and it includes a lot of Playstation Easter eggs like the first iteration that came packed with the PS5. While searching through various worlds, you can search and find new areas that are visually stunning like eye candy. There appears to be many levels, and the challenges increase with difficulty, so finding all the lost bots will take time, but the overall feel of the game is simply one of fun. It has a slight retro feel to games like Crash Bandicoot or Sonic World, but with a fresh look and better gameplay. It is a great platformer and well done by Sony.
