The absolutely best platformer I have played until now. Heavily inspired by an Italian plumber, this game is pure unadulterated joy. It's inventive, creative, and fun. It also has a lot of challenge levels that will make you question your sanity. Lastly, the game is a love letter to the PlayStation history that many older gamers like myself will appreciate.

There is a reason this game won Game of the Year. Graphically, this is the BEST game I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close. What Team Asobi have done here celebrates gaming as a whole, PlayStation as a platform, and rewards exploration to a point where every playthrough becomes a scavenger hunt, and I LOVE that! One of the best games - period. If you love collect-athon games reminiscent of PS1 and PS2, you need to get this game.

I generally am more of a JRPG gamer than a player of platformers. I do play other genres, too, but I figure I should preface with that. Astro Bot amazed me with how fun it can be. And it has tons of nostalgia for people who have played a lot of games on Playstation over the years (in particular I loved seeing the bots based on Symphony of the Night and Ratchet and Clank) It’s fun that can be appreciated by all ages and experience levels, but not without some challenging optional levels to test more experienced gamers!

One of the best games I've ever played. I've been at game playing for awhile, but this game takes the cake. Not only is game play super smooth, but the story is really cute and suitable for my daughter and I to really enjoy gaming together. Be ready for some frustration, laughs, challenges, and a super interactive fun environment. I would recommend this game to any one.

The most joyful game I’ve played in years. Ultra polished from top to bottom. Especially for Sony fans, tons of fan service. Difficulty is just right with some optional stuff that’s a little tougher. Overall, I loved my time with Astro Bot and looking forward to see what’s next!

Overall pretty much Astro Playroom 2.0. While a fun game it's pretty much just what Astro's Playroom was which was a commercial game to promote what the PS5 controller with its haptic feedback could do. The gameplay is fun and the additional added bots with their various game avatar skins is a nice touch. Is the game worth $60? Not really as overall it just feels like and extended addition to the Astro Playroom game with some added bonus content. Wait until Black Friday when the game goes on sale if you can get it for $40 great or maybe even $50 but $60 just seems a little steep for a game that just amounted to a physical DLC add-on content.

It's a fantastic game. It was bought to play together with my 7yr old daughter. She loves the colorful presentation and a great game to help younger newer gamers get good grasp on grasping controls and mastering the simpler mechanics of most games. The nostalgia of finding all the PS characters is such a blast as well.

My boys (8 and 4) favorite game. Both are able to play and enjoy this game. They completed it quickly but the game remains fun as there are lots of side things to do still after beating main path. The game was shipped quickly and we received it undamaged from Best Buy. I was happy with everything in this purchase.

So much charm!! Astro Bot definitely raises a bar for platformers, there is so much life in the world! I love all the cameos, especially the Persona ones, haha! Playstation has found its mascot!

My son absolutely loved Astro Bot. He’s five and finished the entire game with my help. It’s a great game for kids and some of the levels are pretty intense and difficult which is great for the hardcore platformer.

I got Astro Bot for my 6 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! The characters are adorable, the controls are easy for her to pick up, and the gameplay is fun without being frustrating. It’s colorful, creative, and keeps her engaged for a long time. It’s also fun to watch her play great family friendly game that’s worth every penny

Both my son and I love playing this game. Such a fun game with all the different levels. Nice break from other games like call of duty. Great controls.

Astro Bot (PS5) Astro Bot is one of the most charming and fun games on the PS5. Every level is packed with creativity, vibrant colors, and delightful surprises. The DualSense integration is amazing—you can feel every jump, vibration, and movement as if you’re inside the game world. Plus, the nods to PlayStation’s history are full of nostalgia and perfectly executed. A polished, accessible game that’s perfect for both new players and longtime fans. Definitely a must-play for any PS5 owner.

Astro Bot has been described in multiple reviews as one the top two platforming games of all time. Even with very little marketing, it became on of the best games of 2024-including Game of the Year from the Game Awards. Beyond the excellent gameplay and visuals, Astro Bot is a love letter to the history of Playstation. Astro can find Easter eggs and homages to most all of Playstation's games and game icons. The game developers, Team Asobi, have also continued to support the game with updates and FREE content since launch. Very admiral, especially in this day and age! You truly can't go wrong with this purchase. I recommend it 100%.

A well built game designed around the capabilities of the Dualsense controller. Builds upon the premise of Astro’s Playroom. Poster and codes were included in the box. Highly recommended!

Classic Puzzle game with so many fun easter eggs. if you liked the pack in with the PS5, this game is just more of it. Focused more on the PS5 platform but with bots from many of the popular PS games, spanning decades, it is a fun FUN game.

Whatever team Sony has working on this has managed to create a franchise that I honestly think is better than Mario & Mario Odyssey. One of the most fun platformers I've ever played. I'd go so far to say the game is perfect. It's that good.

Definitely worth the purchase - this game is immersive and beautiful and fully takes advantage of the dual sense controllers haptic features. There are numerous things to collect, hidding levels, and so much to enjoy about this game for all ages.
