They provide a good value for those that want key features for a reasonable price. Consider these pros that the A10 headset has to offer. A big plus is that the headset is lightweight which makes them great for prolonged use. The materials are mainly plastic, but have a sturdy feel and are designed to last with replaceable ear cushions and headband pad. I found the head cushions to be comfortable over an extended period of use. The mic can be easily muted by flipping it up and down again for game communications. Having used a wide range of headbands representing different price points I’d say the sound quality is good and very reasonable for the value the A10 headset offers. Clarity of the sound was pretty good as this headset features custom-tuned 32mm dynamic drivers. The removable headphone cable provides in-inline volume control for uninterrupted game play. The biggest negative for users in our family is that our head sizes tend to run bigger so I’d say if you have a larger head size you may find these to be a bit undersized. This Astro Gaming A10 Gen 2 headset may not come with all of the bells and whistles of some of the pricier gaming headsets out there, but this will provide a nice option for those beginner or casual gamers who are looking for a decent option at a reasonable price.

I have owned the previous gen for multiple years with no issues. The new version is extremely poor design and quality.

Comfortable, but defective
