I really like this laptop, its small, sleek and you can take it anywhere. I upgraded to windows 10 and it works flawless, the screen looks great. The only thing i am still working on is the keyboard, seems little small for my big fingers but i am sure its just a matter of getting used to it. I rate it 4.5 stars.

Small and compact for on the go. Great buy for the price. I would recommend this for students to carry to school..not bulky and works just like a regular size laptop.

It's quick for what it needs to do. It will play 1080p Videos without a problem. It will play 1080p MKV files with DTS via VLC and the CPU stays between 48 to 60 percent. I was very surprised that it can play Blue-rays ripped to MKV a 35 to 50 GB file via wireless. The wireless card is 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.I'm using 5GHz in my home. The only thing that frustrates me is the very small 32GB ssd soldered on to the motherboard, as well as the 2GB ram. There is no room for upgrades at all!! the only room for expansion is a micro sd card slot and that's it. FYI there is 10GB recovery partition you cant remove or at least I don't know how to remove it. LOL

Super Light weight, fast especialy at boot up, the only problem is the 32gb. of storage which get lower the more updates installed. Overall it is a good netbook.

Decent laptop. Great battery life. Just need something small to access Internet and MS Word during a conference.

As a gift for a grandparent it works great. Light weight and easy to use.

We bought this for for a Highschool student for a BYOD program. The Asus x205 was a great price, and the keyboard and body feel better than the other entry level laptops. The quad core processor has been fine for schoolwork and minecraft, and lasts all day. We added a SD card for document storage. My son says his friends are constantly looking for an outlet at school. The 32gb storage is small but much more responsive than a hard drive. We also purchased a plastic shell for it for protection. My Son was also excited about the free upgrade to Windows 10.

It's a lot smaller than what I was looking for when I was shopping, but it was within my budget. The touchpad is super sensitive so sometimes I end up clicking things when I don't mean to. I like that it is about the size of a tablet and can easily slide into a bag or larger sized purse. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but it is a pretty quick learning curve.

Its a good little computer/netbook whatever you wanna call it I love using it at work and at school to take notes Pros: -lightweight -more than decent processor -a good daily driver (computer) Cons: -Attracts oils and leaves fingerprints

Bought this computer to replace a previous ASUS that I used for teaching. It's a good size for traveling and is easy to set up for presentations. I like the setup of the keyboard and is much easier to type on than my last computer. I do recommend this computer and it's a reasonable price.

This was a decent computer to carry around. Full featured and very light. Unfortunately, it's not the quickest and mine developed little quirks that slowed it down and caused it to freeze. Ended up returning it. For $200, it's fine for a student or anyone who needs a budget friendly, basic computer.

This laptop was perfect because of its size and specs. Fast enough to play videos and to run programs.Can't beat the price either.

Basic Win 8 laptop/netbook for light use (office, web, email). Small form factor allows for easy transport. Minimal storage 32GB (~10GB after Office 10 installation) is easily expandable using microSD or cloud storage. Case shows fingerprints easily. Battery life seems good.

The laptop is light, fast, and has long battery life. Highly recommend for students and travel.

I purchased this computer to keep at our lake house for when I need to remote in to my office computer when away. I first purchased a Chromebook but it doesn't work for this purpose. The laptop is small, compact and easy to use, once I get used to Windows 8.1. My only complaint is that it seems very slow starting up. This may be due to Webroot security though. It's well worth the money for my need.

This was bought as a secondary laptop computer for the kids to do school work on and the size is perfect for their little hands and I admit I love to use it myself. I was able to take it on a plane and watch a movie from iTunes on it the perfect size to use. I'd recommend!

Needed a replacement for sickly Aunt who had a simple mini laptop for emails and Facebook. Size and weight was a big issue as well. Also USB for external mouse for dexterity. This Laptop hit on all levels and made for one happy customer. The larger scale of the laptop was welcome but weighed less than former laptop for better portability. Powerful enough to do all that was needed and more with the usb hub for wireless mouse. Perfect for the seniors and causal social media users.

I bought this laptop about 3 weeks ago and absolutely love it. Out of the box, I noticed that the wifi card is pretty weak (I only get about a third of the speeds I get on my Macbook). So I searched and found an upgrade for the drivers which made it quite a bit better. Then, to further improve surfing speeds I downloaded Google Chrome which has a built in ad blocker and everything seems to run pretty smoothly now. Don't get me wrong, you will notice that this laptop is slower than the more expensive models, but the battery life is exceptional and it is very small and light. Perfect for traveling.

this asus laptop is perfect compact and fast. The battery life easily extends up to 12-15 hours with full use. Definitely 2 thumbs up
