I'm using this for online classes and my only complaint how little the screen is but thats just because i have bad vision or it would be perfect especially for the price

This laptop is definitely worth the money. It does go a little slow sometimes, but for the price point you couldn’t ask for a better laptop.

My son is in grade school who does grade school things on his Laptop. All but gaming. It's worth that and some.

This device would not charge after 3 days of usage. It was a Christmas present...you get what pay for.

Decent computer won’t run any games though also does not multi task well

I saw this unit on sale at Best Buy for $140 and even though it only had reviews of 2.7 out of 5, I thought I would give it a chance. It's not going to be my main laptop, I just wanted to use it for travel. Immediately on setup, it updated itself to Windows 11 Home. I immediately turned off the S-Mode which was easy to do. I gave it a full charge to 100% and unplugged and turned it off using ShutDown. 22 hours later, the battery was at 65%! I turned off Windows Fast Start in settings and gave it another full charge. When I turned it on 15 hours later, the battery was down to 77%. I shut it down, turned it on 7 hours later, and it was now down to 64%. It seemed that this sweet laptop ships with a fatal flaw i.e. it will be dead every time you turn it on. I saw there were other reviews here about this battery problem. This thing is of little use if every time I go somewhere with it and turn it on, the battery is dead. It supposedly has a 10 hour battery life so I should be able to take it with me and not bring the charger and do a couple of hours of work. I have several laptops and after a full charge and months of not being used, they lose little of their battery charge. Unfortunately, Jonelle and Jamalie from ASUS Customer Loyalty US Support posted links to FAQ's which have nothing to do with this issue. FAQ1043914 is about resolving a short battery life which is not this issue. SAD! I was about to return it to Best Buy which would have been too bad. This is a pretty nice laptop otherwise at a great price. Well built, very small, lightweight, decent keyboard, very nice, sharp display with decent resolution and it seems pretty snappy using the web and 2 programs I put on it. I used the MyASUS utility on the laptop and it downloaded the following updates: E210MABAS304.zip ASUS_E210MAB_304_BIOS_Update.exe Camera_DCH_Sonix_Z_V10.16.19041.10_27415.exe WirelessLan_DCH_Realtek_Z_V2024.0.10.135_25604.exe Graphic_IGCC_DCH_Intel_Z_V30.0.100.9864Sub1_24275.exe ASUSSystemControlInterfacev3_ASUS_Z_V3.1.3.0_14144.exe DPTF_DCH_Intel_Z_V8.7.10700.22502_23985.exe Bluetooth_DCH_Realtek_Z_V1.9.1041.3002_25605.exe Audio_DriverOnly_DCH_Realtek_Z_V6.0.9305.1_27119.exe I installed all of these. The BIOS was updated from American Megatrends Version E210MAB.300, 8/18/2021 to Version E210MAB.304, 5/20/22. After upgrading the BIOS, after 24 hours the battery was at 97%, after 48 hours 93%, after 3 days 90%, after 4.4 days 86%. This still isn't stellar but I can live with it. It is disheartening that the representatives from ASUS don't know how to resolve this problem with their own hardware and give incorrect information on how to solve it. Mine does not have a Micro SD card slot but that's OK, I can just use an USB drive. The 64GB model I got has 26.0 free of 57.0 GB on Drive C. According to Asus' specs, it has an expansion slot for a M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 SSD drive if you need more than 64GB. If you can handle doing these upgrades, I would recommend this.

I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this low cost PC. After 3 weeks of usage, it seems to run the apps I need. I also wanted a smaller screen to keep the PC smaller. The battery doesn't hold the charge after shutdown but not an issue for me. (It only runs about an hour on a full charge.) My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the small storage (64 gb). Although it's sufficient for the 5 essential apps I need, I'm sure I'll need to add an external hard drive for my data. Would be nice to be able to add more internal storage as an option.

Does what I need it to do! It’s small, holds a charge well, runs at a decent speed, and the price was extremely good. I use it for school, so it’s perfect for that!

The laptop isn't great build, it's not blazing fast (but it can be with a little upgrade) also it's not horribly slow, it's just a $99 laptop, it's as fast as a 2012 $800 laptop, it will do everything you need like web browsing, video watching, Android apps, TikTok, office work, with amazing battery life acceptable keyboard, great track pad, low end screen, but come on $99 it's a steal for that price. About the upgrade this laptop has an internal slot for and M2 SSD so you can upgrade that part and make it 3x faster.

I highly recommend this laptop if you're looking for a low cost option that still functions well. This laptop runs great on Windows 11 and is able to do everything I need, and it's pretty amazing that it was only $100 when I purchased it (especially during these times when we're still experiencing pretty bad inflation everywhere). It starts in Windows S mode which is kind of limiting, but it has an option to switch to regular Windows (which I recommend if you have any software to install that is outside of the Microsoft store). The most intense programs I've attempted with it are Jackbox games over Zoom and also Roblox. It also works well streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. Great buy for the price!

I got this as an interim computer, since my original Asus is an 8.1. I wanted something cheap that i could use until deciding on a more substantial computer. This one cost me not much more than $100, and works fine. It even came with a free Office 365 for one year. I'm sure it woudn't handle any huge jobs because of the low RAM, but I don't push it. I'm now using it a lot for Zoom sessions, since it's easy to move around. I also have used it for casting to the TV, although I still mainly use my Android for that function.
