College laptop, middle school,court reporting

I purchased this for my college classes and for my court reporting course's. I needed something affordable. This little thing is fast and no issues only down side is I dont like the keypad but to solve that problem I use a mouse. Ihave also bought one for my 7th grader to use at school and he has no issues

ASUS is great, Windows in s mode not

I searched for chromebook and saw this and ordered without reading much into it. It runs windows 11 in s mode. I already despise windonts and win 11 in s mode is limited as to what you can install and what all you can do with it. I bought this because it's an ASUS and I thought it was a chromebook I would not buy this laptop again unless it actually came with ChromeOS or some other Linux variety.

Undoubtedly, ASUS is great!
We do understand your disappointment with Windows 11 S mode limitation and the inconvenience this may have caused. WINDOWS 11 S Mode version was intended for speed, simplicity and security. In order to have flexibility ot to install third-party applications, the OS needs to be switched to WINDOWS 11 HOME. For tutorials on how to switch the OS, please go to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11. Switching the OS from S Mode to Home Edition is free.
