The laptop is exactly as described in the overview, and with Windows 11, it operated flawlessly. I opted to add a 256gig PCIe SSD and that also added to the great value of the laptop. It boots up quickly and connects and reacts to online content at almost Internet speeds. I use the laptop as a media content device with KODI connected to a media amp and digital TV and found that the sound settings would actually support 5.1 audio. This was a great purchase!

I purchased this computer for about $120 because I needed to run work programs on Windows. It does pretty much everything my MacBook does effectively, just slower and on a worse display quality. However, it will get the job done. I run multiple programs on this computer for hours at a time and it has yet to crash. Rarely, it will freeze up for a couple of seconds. However, for the price point, it is a decent computer, and the small size is a benefit for frequent travel.

We are not multitasking with lots of stuff open. But no speed issues. Got it on sale for 89 bucks so worth the money for sure.

A light laptop for light work

It's perfect for adding content to WordPress sites and other web-based applications. I was even able to get it to run Adobe XD well enough. I don't think I'll be trying to Photoshop anything on there, but it does simple things nicely. The display is good enough, but obviously nowhere close to a MacBook retna display or higher-end PC laptop. One note: it burns through the battery in sleep mode, so if you're not going to use the computer for a while, do a full shut down.

Battery drains rapidly even when powered down. Not sure if I got a defective one or if its just not a stellar product.

We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue and the battery draining faster than normal.
Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance, please check if Windows is up to date in order to resolve the slow speed or performance. Please ensure the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/.
In order to improve or prolong the battery charged time if it's draining rapidly, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the system, without the AC adapter connected, and drain it completely again.Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current system update and third-party battery draining applications are not running if not in used.
