Great starter laptop

Is definitely a good starting laptop, if you get it at a discounted price. At full price, I would not recommend it as there are definitely better options. It is slow and runs comparable to a Chromebook, but again it is a great starter laptop for the little one.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale for $110 -- good price point for a nice, basic machine for use on travel, etc. Only caveat -- IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST FIRMWARE!!! I had the same problem another reviewer had with battery drainage when the machine was shut down. In fact, it was so bad I took the 1st one I got back and exchanged it because I assumed the battery was defective. The 2nd one showed the same behavior until I found the review talking about updating the firmware, and that fixed it.

Only worked for 8 months

This is not an issue for me but the laptop died in late June 2023 where I could not boot it up so there was no way to reload Windows or find the issue.
