easy to use, light weight, sleek design, good battery life. not the best speakers, but it doesn't bother me.

I have long been a fan of Chromebooks, especially for general use at home for internet access and email. This ASUS chromebook, purchased as a gift for a family member, has proven to be a reliable performer at a great price. Although others may want to bump up to 4GB of RAM, the 2GB unit has more than enough capacity for most day to day tasks. This model is tough to beat for the price!

This chromebook is extremely light and easy to carry anywhere you go. I would highly recommend to anyone who travels often for business/leisure as a laptop can be quite bulky and heavy. Very easy to use, perfect for everyday basic web usage. Batter life is superb! Lasts forever once it's fully charged. This is by far one of my best purchases I have ever made.

If your computer needs are web scanning, online bill paying, etc then this is your dream come true. Light weight, fast, good battery life, virus free. What more can you ask for. I only wish that they had these 20 yrs ago.

This was my first Chromebook purchase. Regarding the device itself, I love that it's super-light, and that the screen size is 13 inches vs the common 11 inch size that most Chromebooks are. It seems durable enough, and looks better than I'd expect for something in the sub-$200 range. While I'm still getting used to some of the nuances of Chromebooks, I'm very happy so far. I like having all of my files stored online, where they are accessible through my phone, tablet, or other computers at work or home. The operating system has been very easy to navigate and understand. I will buy Chromebooks in the future as well.

With chrome os this laptop benefits from zero boot time,and minimal battery use. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a computer for school or writing as that was the reason I purchased this. Its a solid machine, thin and lightweight. With access to Google docs straight after setup you benefit from never losing a document as its cloudsaved as well. Initial use reveals how intuitive the chrome os system is setup and the learning curve is nearly non existent. Battery life is phenomenal as 1 charge lasted 9 hours of nearly constant use. If your expecting to install a lot of programs this is not the right machine for you, chromes slightly modified android system only installs chrome apps.

I bought this Chromebook because it was very inexpensive, and I had been wanting to see if Chromeooks were any more worthwhile than MacBooks or PC laptops. While it doesn't replace my MacBook Pro for heavy lifting (video editing, photo editing and storage, CD or DVD burning) it has become my laptop of choice for 80% of my time - email, document editing, and anything using a web browser. It is extremely light, very inexpensive, and holds a battery charge as long (if not longer) than an iPad. I travel only with my Chromebook now. Highly recommended, especially at the $149 sale price.

I bought this for my daughter to use for school and she loves it. Its lightweight and small enough to fit in a back pack but it has a good size screen still. Its fast too!

The chrome book battery last a long time in comparison with a standard laptop. Since the hard drive is all solid state, It is very durable. I do not travel without my chrome book. Easy to like on airport and hotel wireless internet. I recommend this chrome book to anyone looking for a solid dependable computer that has a primary use for internet browsing.

This has amazing battery life and great portability. It's extremely light weight. I purchased this product without understanding that it would not work with most printers. The screen quality is what you would expect for a very low end laptop. The operating system was easier to get accustomed to then I thought it would be. This could be the right product for some people, just not for me.

If you already know the benefits and cons of a Chromebook and have decided that a chromebook is a good choice for you then the Asus Chromebook 13 is a great option. The laptop is extremely light, there is no vent so it makes no noise, the sound isn't loud but its decent. Screen isn't 1080p but I have no problem using it for everyday task, but it isnt the best for watching netflix. Overall a great choice!

Very fast and lightweight. I love my chromebook. The only problem I have is that sometimes it lags or freezes if I'm doing too many things at once. It is a good product for the price

So far so good! Bought for my son to use in 7th grade. He drags it around school all day and back and forth in the backpack. I use it at home too. Pretty cool in that everything is online with Google apps. Nice big screen and reasonably fast. Great value for under $200.

Great for school/office work for the price, although if you're unfamilar with the Chrome OS model you might have a little hard time adjusting to this. Nevertheless, it's a good buy for the price. Not recommended for downloading movies and games by the way, just for netflix, browsing and writing papers. Also this DOES NOT have MS OFFICE and you'll be using Google sheets, google docs etc.

Picked up this Asus Chromebook and I LOVE IT! Don't let the specs scare you with just 2gb of ram etc, The Chrome OS is quick with everything and this chromebook is AMAZING with battery life. QUICK Boot up (i mean instantly), QUICK web loading, and AMAZING Battery life, plus a super light chromebook, what's not to love??!

For the price this chrome book is great. If you do most of your work online (including using things like google docs) this has all the basics you need at a great price

I bought this phonebook for my child to use at school. I am very pleased with the speed at accessing the internet and using web based programs. I am also happy with the size of the phonebook. It is smaller than a laptop but not significantly.

Since this is my first Chromebook, I can't compare to other Chromebooks. However, it serves its purpose and that is streaming video, typing text for emails and surfing the web. Good battery life and lightweight.
