I bought this computer for light duty use to supplement our others. It works fine---better than I anticipated---and it performs everyday tasks fairly quickly. But don't expect it to perform well for gaming or multitasking. At first the display was dim, but some tinkering with the settings brightened that. I would recommend it to friend, depending on the friend's needs.

It does what I need it to, a little slow. But for the price, it was worth it.

got it on sale for $169. starts quick and responsive. battery charge will hold 3-4 hours. my teen uses it for school assignments. perfect for price.

This laptop does exactly what we needed. I bought this laptop for my husband. He loves it!!!! He is on it everyday checking emails paying bills to watching movies. For someone who don't or didn't care too much for a laptop I have proven him wrong.

I got this laptop when offered at $149 knowing it would be a modest laptop, but it is unbelievably slow. It is a shame what is otherwise a great starting laptop when Asus could have raised the price by $20 and put in a better processor.

I like the computer as far as a basic functionality computer BUT i don't like so much the cheap quality of the material used to built the laptop. I felt that the non backlit keyboard was a bad decision. Also when using caps you can't tell if its on or off because there is no indication light. I should have spent a little extra money and got a better version laptop
