Q: Is the memory user-upgradable on this unit?
A: The RAM memory of this model unit is not expandable or upgradeable.
Q: what does the trackpad feel like?
A: Pretty much like most newer trackpads...no actual buttons. There's a division line at the bottom and the lower portion of the trackpad basically "flexes" to provide left and right click. If you're used to the tactile feel of buttons to click without looking, it'll take a day or two to get used. However, it becomes natural and you don't need to press any harder than a normal trackpad to click. As for "feel" of the surface, it's a little more textured than what I'm used to. Usually, the trackpad is smoother than the rest of the case material. This one is only slightly less textured than the case...and to me feels like I'm sliding on case plastic many times. But, again, nothing that you can't get used to. Overall, sensitivity and behavior is just like any other pad...just "feels" a little different tactile wise.
Q: I saw that it has "Wireless Networking" - Wireless-B|Wireless-G|Wireless-N.
A: Q1: The unit will work with an older wireless B or G router as well as newer wireless N and A/C routers. Q2: This laptop will connect to a wireless B/G/N or A/C router Q3: The letters B,G,N refer to the technical specifications of IEEE 802.00 wireless WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) communications. (See : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11 for more technical info.) Most new wireless routers available today are either N or A/C (and backward compatible to earlier 802.11 a/b/g specifications.)
Q: What version of Windows 10 is included?
A: It comes with Windows 10 64bit.
Q: dvd & bd
A: Only DVD, no blue-ray
A: brand new laptop and yes it came with a adapter
Q: Would this be ideal for my kids to play Minecraft, and other games on?
A: YES! this is great for your boys
A: I found a spec sheet for it elsewhere, it claims to be a 30 watt-hour battery so you could probably expect 4-5 hours during regular use. Obviously, streaming video or playing video games is going to bring that number down a lot.
