The best part of any ASUS laptop is its performance. It done its job this time also. It would have been better if the memory is 6gb , but doesn't hurt anything. It's a very good laptop for the price I paid.

I recently purchased this laptop and am very happy with it. I primarily use it for accessing the internet and when using the MS Office applications (which I purchased separately). It can be a bit slow at times if I have many Chrome tabs or Excel spreadsheets open but that is not a significant concern for me. If you want a very fast machine, go for the extra memory.

I purchased this laptop primarily for Internet browsing and to run a diagnostic tool on my Audi (VCDL). You're not winning any processing speed awards here, nor are you getting a ton of memory, but it has more than enough oomph for general Internet browsing, and it downloaded, stored and executed my VCDL software flawlessly. The VCDL application also runs without any issues as well. I've also used it to stream Crossfit and other exercise videos in the garage without any issues. Great value for the $140 or so I paid for it during Best Buy's Black Friday sales.

As I said, great entry level laptop. The Dual core Intel Celeron CPU will get the job done for almost any non-intensive task. The 500 GB 5400 RPM HDD is enough for almost any person who doesn't plan to be downloading massive files all the time. The 4GB DDR3L RAM is enough for almost any task, this laptop can take up to 8GB, but no one really needs more than 4 or 8. Anyways, this is a great beginner laptop for anyone. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.

This laptop is perfect for what I need in a laptop. Set up was really easy. I only check email, shop, and look at different websites so this is the perfect laptop for me! The price was great too!!

This laptop is not the top of the line, basic features that is perfect for web surfing , youtube, word processing Etc. light stuff. the CPU is slow but efficient when it comes to power consumption. 500GB hard drive is decent storage but if you want to bump the performance level a bit get a solid state Hard drive and i'll give you that . on board memory is fine and the build it self is pretty solid, i love the top of the laptop it has this brail-like texture to i just want to rub my face on it all day

For the price, you can't beat this laptop. I wish it had more USB ports and the keyboard is dark and hard to see in limited light.

You can't find this configuration in this price. Hardware Quality is also good. Performance is also fine. Windows 10 is good.

I purchased it during Christmas sale. BestBuy had a great bargain that could not be missed. It works fine, just little bit slow. If you are sensitive with speed, it may not be yours. It is pre-installed with Windows 10. Only two USB ports, but one is speedy USB 3.0. Unlike other bargain price laptops, it has cd/dvd writable drive. HDMI port is also a plus. If you need a laptop for just normal everyday use (web surfing, word-processing, etc.), it is for you.

Great black friday price, not the fastest computer in the world, but for the price you can't beat it

Bought this for my teenage daughter. So far it has been a good computer. Upon doing research I opted to pay a little more to ensure enough memory. Most in the price range of $150 had limited memory that was taken up by Windows 10 operating system. The main downfall,as with all new computers l, is having to buy the Windows package (Excel, Word, etc) separately. Luckily my daughter uses Google Docs for most of her school work.

This is laptop for regular usage only as Light webbrowsing, movies, Netflix, FB etc, might not work for big things, Dont even think of loading bulk softwares to work on it, Keyboard usage is real messy when u are used to Lenovo or Mac. But all good the money paid, Thought of back up for my mac, a Big No, Good for Starters. and light users.

A good price for a laptop, good to have for travel but not powerful enough for gaming.

I only paid $139 on black Friday and this came with Windows 10 already installed. I have a touch screen Asus that i never got to use because of my girlfriend, who this was purchased for. After getting this, she wants to use this one more. Nice little outfit here.

Got this on black thursday. It has windows 10. It's surface is a brushed metal surface- looks nice. The celeron processor is better than the Atom one, but is still a little slow to respond.

This is a good computer and you will benefit if you upgrade to the SSD. Also I see this item on sale, sometimes it's 199.00 or even 169.00 Its look like a good buy for this amount of money. But if you in the mood to spend a little more go for I3 processor. You will be more happy

Perfect laptop for budget pricing. Got it for $150 in thanksgiving deal. Laptop is Windows 10 and has good HDD space with enough RAM to run basic applications like office and movie player/music player and internet browsing.

Maybe I was expecting more but it's annoyingly slow and sluggish, especially downloading graphics. Initially kept getting this message..."Display driver stopped responding and has recovered." Perhaps someone out there has a tip on how to get better performance out of this laptop? I'd appreciate it.
