I bought this item and a chromebook. The ASUS laptop operates slower than I expected and the pre-installed programs are difficult to navigate. The chromebooks was much faster and easier to use.

Got this for $200~ open box. It can barely handle multiple web browsing tabs open, constant video card crashes, and is pretty slow overall when clicking through the internet. Would not recommend this, spend 200 more and get a usable pc

This Laptop fit my requirements for general computer needs. Surfing the web, checking email and word processing. It is not a fast computer, but look at the price you are paying.The screen image is excellent and 15.6 inches.

This computer is cheap in cost and looks. Makes it a perfect entry level or throwaway computer. Out of the box it feels sluggish, but at least doesn't freeze. I recommend an SSD upgrade so it's a little more tolerable.

My Asus was not built very well. I could wiggle the port 360 degrees when the charging cord was plugged into the back of the laptop. This should not happen in a new laptop. Shoddy construction, in my opinion.

Surprisingly high quality product for a very economical price. I love it. Especially the 10 key nexy to the keyboard.

Computer is very slow and user interaction feels choppy. I have owned Celeron laptops in the past that performed adequately, but this one does not. Stay away!!

The laptop has a lot of difficulty streaming regardless of wifi connection or strength. I had to buy a wireless mouse because the one equipped barely works. Never buying Asus products again.

Laptop was at a great price. Bought it as a gift for my son. No complaints from him and he has had it over 9 months. Would purchase again.

Working appropriately for a starter computer for a middle school student. Was disappointed that it had to be taken in for service to the disc drive less than 1 Month after it was bought.

Purchased this laptop for my son Christmas 2015, really good speed and picture but now its November 2016 and the battery charger just stopped working. Can't find a replacement, called customer service for ASUS and all they can tell me is to buy another for $99.99. What??? the laptop isn't even a year old, what happened to the 1 year warranty. Next time i'll spend more money on an Apple or HP. (btw) since they don't make this model anymore, they don't sell the charger separate and the universal chargers don't fit!!!!

Computer has a good, solid design. Not designed for gaming but son uses it for that and homework and has not complained about performance. Good value for your money.

I purchased this computer as a replacement for my aging mother. It is a good basic laptop, but the Windows 10 operating system has proven to be a challenge for her.

Buyer Beware! This laptop is by far the worse I have ever purchased/owned. Roughly 3 weeks after purchase, the computer crashed and I had to have it restored. Best Buy of course would not exchange it due to their "REFUND/EXCHANGE" policy. The computer screen still turns black sometimes but is still running when it happens and I have to do a manual shut down. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!!!

Very cheap laptop but is very slow. Only for the most "basic" of applications.

Bought as a Christmas present for son. Doesn't use much but was worth the value.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my cousins and they are still enjoying it after almost a year of using it. Have not heard of any major issues!

I got this for less than 150 and it is awesome. Even I would buy it again.
