This has been a great little computer for the money. It does what it needs to do with ease. I got it for web browsing, social media, and writing. Plus, the price was great. It's still going strong.

This is a nice laptop, a steal for the black Friday deal I got. It is very thin and light, and after you remove a crapload of bloatware (McAfee literally made it crawl) and stop all the app notifications and things running in the background it runs pretty good. My wife uses it for surfing, tumblr, pinterest. office.

I purchased this as a gift for my stepdad, who will use it for light everday browsing. The price was very fair for a light use laptop and it included more than he was in the market for. Enjoyed his reaction

I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GREAT BUY FOR MY DAUGHTER/A COLLEGE STUDENT, BUT IT TURN OUT NOT TO BE A VERY GOOD BUY. THE LAPTOP IS VERY SLOW, AND SHE DECIDE TO KEEP IT ANYWAY UNTIL IT SHUT DOWN FOR NO REASON WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF PURCHASES. SO WE RETURNED IT.

I'm a computer tech, have been a tech for 41 years. I wanted a windows 10 pc so I purchased this one at a very good price. The problem is that all the companies sell a similar model and the Celeron 1.6gb dual core processor it comes with similar to the very low end AMD E1 and E2 processors are ridiculously slow. Although I'm a tech, all I'm usually doing is email reading news, or downloads of apps and updates. Another words no heavy duty computing no gamming, only light computing. Just scrolling a web page is embarrassing slow and choppy. This is with a streamlined operating system, with few if any apps running in the background.

This laptop was perfect for my 14 year old daughter for Christmas. We did have a pretty big issue when the laptop powered off and would not turn back on but Best Buy replaced it and now this PC is working great and she won't put it down.

I was actually thrilled to get such a bargain for this computer... It has everything I needed & really appreciated the speed in which it was shipped to my home with free shipping (only 3 days!).

my six year old kept asking me for a computer and I believe its a good buy for such a small boy, it does what any other expensive computer does.

I have purchased this basic laptop for all my children over the years and recommended it to others. A laptop is a consumable, just like tires on your vehicle. At $200 or near, it fits this scenario perfectly. Over the course of 2 years most laptops, hinges fail, keys start sticking or falling off, rubber feet gone (causing future over heating), batteries won't keep a charge, AC adapters get broken, etc. It is a lot easier to replace this level of laptop if you have not financed the ranch... move on and probably up to a faster unit....

Screen size is perfect and has windows 10 which is a plus. Needed a device with a cd drive and got this at a great price for Christmas gift.

Been using for about 2 weeks. Fine out of the box and I expect it will more than meet my needs. Great-looking, thin body, excellent display.

I bought this on black Friday and new I was getting a good deal but this is a really good computer

I had an Hp that did not last me year so I started asking around and my boyfriend tech friend said to get an asus or acer. So when I seen the Acer on sale I got it best choice I made I love this laptop long battery life easy file access. The only it takes a minute to load.

Beautiful laptop. It looks way more expensive that it is. But, when you open it you realize way. It is particularly slow from the first boot. Cortana, the vocal assistant, is not very friendly. Good for beginners.

The Asus laptop is good for the price I paid, but I find it difficult to work with. Sometimes the pad will not maneuver correctly and then at other times I don't even press the pad and it acts like I have and jumps to a new page. Microsoft Edge sucks as an internet browser, I had to upload Firefox. I can not get the customization settings to work on Windows 10 and the help option does not give any helpful information. I miss using my patents Mac. The apps are not the same as using them on my Kindle or iPhone, so I have to go to the web address to get anything done or get on my tablet or smartphone.

Got this as a replacement for a computer that wasn't suitable for my friend's grandmother. This computer suited her needs perfectly: it was cheap, has plenty of space for pictures he kids and grandkids send her, has excellent WiFi range, and has a decent battery life. This computer isn't a workhorse, but if your primary use is browsing the Internet, Netflix, and email, this is perfect and affordable.

I have purchased several of these for older friends and relatives. They are excellent laptops with great battery life. I have not had a single complaint from anyone who I gave one to (and most of these people wouldn't hesitate to let me know they weren't happy). I've seen them on sale, and at some of the prices I have seen, I've been close to getting one for myself. They run very cool and are quiet.
