This Asus is good machine for my school and office day to day life. It was inexpensive and delivers high quality. It is slender and light weight.. I'm totally happy with this buy.

You can use this laptop to do everything that I have ever done with a computer. And the price I paid for it is outrageous - outrageously miraculous. Yes, it is one third slower than my Desktop, and its display is less than 1080, but it's big while still light t carry, and it has a Full sized Chiclet keyboard with numeric key pad. All my programs and apps run on it's Windows 8,.1, OS, and it automatically synchs with my desktop and my Amazon Kindle account. through Wi-Fi. It's encased in black matte and fingerprints are not visible. It runs quiet and on battery for 5 hours between charges

I can honestly say that you are getting what you pay for here. It lacks quality and has no bells and whistles for it's a decent lap top for someone looking to pay little.

I bought 2 of these Asus laptops & we are very happy with them. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it has Windows 8. Happy windows 10 is on the way.

This is a great value if you are looking for a computer to do the basics like E-mail, Facebook and basic searches. Wouldn't use this for gaming on a regular basis.

Needed a new Tablet immediately, Best Buy had the best price. Salesman was efficient , did not sell hype or fluff, found the product for me , no hassle, no problem

We bought this computer for my 14 year olds' Internet school work and have used it also to transfer VHS to DVD. A+ for both of these tasks. First foray into Windows 8 so that takes a bit getting used to. Very lightweight which is convenient. Can't speak to durability since we've only had it for a month.

I was looking for an inexpensive laptop and this fit the bill ! Has lots of applications (that I will probably never use).. is a nice size & runs like gem.

great laptop just for my son to do what he needs to do plus playing his computer games on, it lags but good enough for kids to use and a reasonable price

I purchased this as a gift for my sister. After purchasing another laptop at another store, it quit working after 2 weeks. So I purchased this one at best buy. Not only was it faster and better priced, it has more features than the previous one I purchased. Very happy with this laptop.

It's a nice computer for school. I use it for the regular basic stuff that I need to get done. As a college student I'm always writing papers and downloading documents so this computer fits my purposes. If I were constantly downloading big files though, I wouldn't recommend it.

It is a good (not great) computer for the price. It covers all the basics, which is all I needed and expected, so I am happy with the purchase.

For a basic computer, you could do a lot worse. This machine was purchased for my mother, primary tasks for her include webmail, MS Office document editing, and other rudimentary tasks. This machine's performance is more than adequate for these types of tasks. The size of the unit is great - it's a full half inch thinner than the machine that it replaced, and far lighter. The screen is excellent, even though it is a glossy panel, which will cause issues when light is behind the screen. Including a full sized keyboard at this price would also be a great plus.....if the keyboard wasn't horrible. Squishy key feelings, odd spacing, nearly no key travel or tactile feedback - and this isn't an ultrabook, it has no excuses. This same feeling extends to the build quality. A trip to the library, safely encased in a laptop bag, was enough to get the lower portion of the screen bezel to start to come undone. It was snapped back into place easily enough, but a laptop shouldn't fall apart just from carrying it around. Overall, this isn't the worst, but after a long time of using business class machines, I wouldn't be able to use this as my daily driver. If a less savvy consumer such as my mother has reason to complain about the build quality, that's definitely telling you something.

Excellent computer with everything I need, but a bit slow sometimes. Not sure if this is a problem of the laptop of my internet connection.

Great product at a great cost for my son in college. Needed something for him to run all his programs on for school. This was perfect! Great customer service as well!

I wasn't expecting a lot from this laptop because of the price and the specifications. But after receiving it and having some time to play with it, I haven't experienced anything that really makes me regret this purchase. I can play low-demand games easily (I haven't tried any high-demand games) and everything else works smoothly. The internet seems slow, but I can't tell if that's the computer or bad wireless signals. Either way, if you need a cheap laptop to get low-demand tasks done, this one is perfect.

purchased this for my 10 year old daughter who absolutely loves it. it does the job, was inexpensive and has everything we need.
