Very responsive and I love it for gaming! Loads my game quickly and can multitask without a hitch in gameplay. This is my first gaming laptop but for someone on a budget/entry level I highly recommend it. The matte screen is great as well; I have a fairly bright window behind me which shines on the screen but I can still see what I need without having to tilt the screen at an impossible angle. I also like the DVD/CD player. There are plenty of ports for my peripherals too: mouse, controller, and headphones/mic.

This computer is all I wished for when I ordered it. It is fast as advertised and the SSD hard drive is a great feature compared to my last computer. Wifi card is nice and fast and makes a world of difference. I have tried to lag it and so far it has met all my gaming needs.

The laptop performs very well. I've had no problems with the performance. I have had a problem with the hinge to the screen sticking, to the point that the frame cracked. Fortunately it was something I was able to repair myself....

Nice antiglare screen, nice colourful backlite keybord, good performance, 4gb nvidia, overal very good. Only the cooler is making noise but for me is not an issue

This a great laptop. Very fast boot time. A little loud, but I love it.

Great laptop. My only problem is it gets hot very fast. The last gaming laptop (same brand) had two fans at the side that kept it cool. This one gets very hot too quick

Reviewed many computers. Part by part compared to other brands we got the best computer for hundreds of dollars less. This brand and particular model is tops with no issues so far. Very happy with the purchase.

Asus is always good this laptop is badass runs great doesnt get hot either

I bought this laptop when browsing the "VR ready" category, but after hooking the Oculus via HDMI (also tried DP), I'm disappointed that it's laggy. People say it's the Optimus feature and/or hard-wiring with the 2 graphic cards (intel and nVidia) that interferes with VR. It's perfectly fine with non-VR gaming. Video and audio production is manageable (no kinks) on it.

I have owned several ASUS computers and upgrade every 5 to 8 years. This was the latest upgrade and I have been well pleased with the performance. The battery life is a little shorter than I hoped for but playing games does eat the battery up! Graphics are great and speed is fantastic

IT'S TOO SLOW FOR A 1400 DLLS LAPTOP, DON'T BUY IT...

This laptop is the greatest bang for you buck. no complaints whatsoever EXCEPT... After a year (and 1 year manufacturer warranty) the hinge connecting the screen to the base cracked somehow. nothing out of the ordinary in daily use. Just cheap plastic i guess. THEN, after a couple more months of use, the crack became a BREAK and started seperating the actual screen chasis from the monitor panel ALONG WITH, the hinge being completely removed. I took it in to some shops, but no one was willing to touch it and said i would have to contact the manufacturer for a whole new screen, which they do not do... SO... now what? Have to purchase another laptop in only a years time...bummer summer brah
