A: Yes it does you will get 80 to 150 frames per second..... it's a great budget gaming laptop
Q: Will the optical drive in this machine play blu-ray dvds?
A: To my knowlage of using this pc, I do not believe so. However through modification you can replace the existing dvd player to a blu-ray player. I hope that my answer was sufficient.

Q: Can you hook up a Xbox controller? And how good are the gaming graphics?
A: I haven't used a Xbox Controller yet so I can't help you with that but I can say gaming graphics are as good as it can get. The Withcher 3 runs smoothly on ultra, probably everything runs that way. The only thing is you have to dissable the XBOX DVR or something like that, it seems to be a Windows 10 issue.
