I really cannot tell you how much RAM can be put in this unit... It does have the access panel on the bottom to get to the RAM and you have to remove the whole bottom of the laptop in order to get to it... I'm NOT a Geek with computers, so any technical questions, you better go to Best Buy... They always help me a LOT with ANY questions.. Especially at the Best Buy in Waterloo, IA.. The Geek Squad there are ALWAYS GREAT!!!
